  • @BudgieCatOwner yeah,I'm not Jade but, you can tell the difference of a female and a male by looking at the nose. A blue or purplelish color is a male and a pink or brown is female. Hope I helped

  • shes like drunk

  • Hi am wondering if you can help me, I just got a budgie a week ago and am not sure if its a male or female, i have got some pictures, hope you can help. thanks jade

  • ...this taught me nothing on how to keep a parakeet happy....

  • i wouldnt trust expert village they dont know a lot about animals espically hermit crabs

  • what is it with the sub titles

  • are sea shells bad fo my budgies health?

  • Actually you shouldn't look at the color of the beak, you should look at its' nostrils when they're young. If the nostrils have a clear white ring around them, then they're a girl, if they don't have a white ring, then they're a boy. I see that you commented on this eight months ago, so you probably know the gender by now.

  • has everyone heard about the proposed ban on all exotic being voted on april 23rd its called hr669 it will ban pretty much all pets except dogs and cats and goldfish. No other fish, no reptiles, no amphibians, no birds, no guinea pigs ferrets or hamsters. we wont be able to get any more. if it passes the whole reptile hobby will crash spread the word

  • @cichlidmaniac25 good thing it didn't i have 2 birds

  • I really liked your video and your channel. If you need any help getting this video or channel exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.

    Nice.

  • i subbed, my hammy just died and im thinkin bout gettin a budgie

  • thanks

  • hey guys how can i approach my parakeets? I have not been able to pick them up without getting bit the only way i can get in their cage is with a millet spray. Im not scared of them but i also dont want to stress them out any help appreciated

  • Hey there! Just try every day and if they're young, you'll be able to handle them in time. Leave the cage open with millet outside the cage. I handled mine from the start and he still won't come to me and prefers certain toys or the cage, or even certain spots, to sitting with me. But when he needs/wants something he comes to me. I have to keep his wings trimmed, too. When he could fly he would come to me though. Just depends on his moods and you have to work every day and be persistent.

  • Oh and sometimes I put food in one hand while he sits in the other or hold it to where he flutters to me. Depending on age it may be harder to get them to bond more. But just doing things with mine helps. I have mine with me as long as no one is smoking and it's safe, no other dangers, or I let him watch tv or whatever. I read to him, we go outside and I wash his cage he loves the sound of water, being misted w/ a water bottle and loves when I wet his toys - he licks it up.

  • I have the same problem but from watching a reading I've learned that when it's pink it probably is still a little baby so you can't tell... o.o it'll suck while it lasts my keet has a pinkish lavender......

  • I Love Budgies!

  • Hell Yeah!

  • this is good. but i have question...my bird is almost one year and he has a friend of about the same age, my question is why they seem to fight...but i know they love each other..im positive

  • 1. they could be playing.

    2. they are fighting on whos boss...witch is 100% normal for birds that are good friends

  • Same thing i thought but sadly... my yellow one killed the blue one i dont now how one morning i wake up i see the blue on the bottom of the cage no blood or anything=\

  • okayyyyyyyyyyyyy
