See, this movie is actually pretty good, but it's too much of a departure from FF games' style. They all have that Japanese mythic feel to them (i.e. FFX; holy cow!), which is honestly - because they do it right and not completely insane - why I think they're so successful (that and the lesser fact they've got amazing gameplay and content). This reminds me more of Star Trek (blegh!).
The thing that took the guy's soul is not lava.. Its the spirit of another planet. Uh.. the Earth's one is called Gaia, so this is another planet's "Gaia". Oh BTW, the planet this "lava" came from bew up. x]
Right.. I love this song all the way through and I love Yellowcard.. but in the video, OK I have no idea what it is.. But that guy, he is identical to Adam Sandler.. maybe my eyes just don't work properly when I hear something good!! teehee
