@ParticalEMotion no, im a drummer and the "normal order" is 1.drums, 2. bass, 3. guitar/s, 4 keyboard/other instruments, then finally 5. vocals. drums are the main tempo of the song and also is bass. drums and bass work together to keep the rhythem hooked up. guitar follows the drums and bass

in my band when we record we do a live recording first then everyone tracks there own parts over the top off the live this gives even the drummer a gud base's of which to start.. then tack away the live and if you have a guy that can give you a have decent mix then your sorted lol

Yah because he records in takes its easier because if he screws up then he only has to go to a surtin check point to start over again then he starts recording again after he takes a small break. DT has 20 min songs, imagine if you had to record through a complex 20 min song without screwing up.
