haha this happened to me before. my friend told her parents i was Filipino and the first thing her mom said to me was "Kamusta!" And I just played along with it, acting like her saying hi in tagalog impressed me a lot. Every time I talk to her she always brings up my race in one way or another, like the other day she randomly asked me if I could teach her how to make lumpia for a dinner party.

Nah she's not ignorant or anything, I guess you could say it was a little bit predictable from her, she works with a lot of filipino people at the hospital where she's employed and goes to a lot of their gatherings. She didn't think I knew karate or was a genius at math, she just has a fascination for Filipino culture I guess. My gf's dad was actually pretty embarrassed when we all met. Helio is actually a great phone. Believe it or not. The price of the phone is cheap. If you go to a local asian cell-phone dealer. They actually have the original one. (Original=only in Korean Language). And they sell it for 700-1,000. Depending on the device. The Hero and the Kickflip goes for $600. It;'s great with unlimited internet service.
