  • Lol i have to say that Thomas Sowells book "basic Economics" was the only 600 page book i was ever excited to read.

  • @neonaction

That's hilarious that anyone would say what you said. He's clearly not stupid.

  • @neonaction Compared to who?

  • @Hogbeast6 compared to you

  • It is not genes per se. It is cultural mindset (and the definition of "culture" is not limited to country--certain mentalities/mindsets are prevalent among members of certain groups).

  • Thomas Sowell is an incommensurably great writer.

  • T. Sowell is a household name. But, as it were, no household is equal.

  • Liberalism is the politics of victimhood. Crybabies every one. Liberalism is a mental disease.

  • As Malcolm Muggeridge once famously said on an episode of "Firing Line" with Bill Buckley, "I regard liberalism as the great disease of our society." He's correct.

  • The fact that Thomas Sowell is not a household name is a shame. Sowell is truly an American treasure.

  • So true, I've been reading his bio recently

He's an amazing intellectual, I was shocked to learn that he used to be a Marxist, but on the bright side that means people can't accuse him of not understanding Marxism when he shreds it in his books

  • @Sam26100

    "Any 20 year old who isn't a Socialist dosen't have a heart, any 30 year old who's still a Socialist dosen't have a brain."

  • @Aphoresis So you're saying I don't have a heart? lol

  • @Aphoresis

    "doesn't", not "dosen't"

  • @oilarjeff agreed.
