Dangerous pharmaceuticals that often have nasty side effects? Anyone who's done the slightest bit of research into the effects of cannibis will know that the 'side effects' of taking that stuff are considerably worse than pretty much all legal medicines that you're likely to take.
Some people are able to take cannibis without hugely noticeable symptoms, but it takes a moron to say that there isn't a high risk of it having a greatly negative impact on your life.
You realise that long term use of cannibis can lead to schizophrenia, don't you? It may also lead to other mental health issus (such as users becoming paranoid, panicky, etc.) It effects your coordination (drug driving is as bad as if not worse than drink driving), it can lead to breathing problems as well as lung cancer, it leads to heart problems, lowers sperm count, it may lead to learning difficulties, not to mention it's addictive which last I checked was a bad thing.

dom, it doesn't matter whether it's smoked or taken orally - Cannabinoids, the molecules that get you high, also possess anticancer properties. They cut tumors off from a blood supply and also cause them to self destruct (apoptosis). This doesn't mean that smoking pot is a guarantee you won't die of cancer - it depends on the greater context of your lifestyle obviously. In order to utilize cannabis as an effective anti-cancer you have to balance it against your exposure to carcinogens.
But seriously, smoking it is a waste in terms of its anti-cancer activity. While cannabinoids retain their anti-cancer properties as smoke, there are definitely much more efficient ways of applying it specifically as an anti-cancer.
And dom, don't think that because something fights cancer, that it will necessarily win every time. That being said, Cannabis does put up one hell of a fight. Look up Manuel Guzman's research on this.

You realise that long term use of cannibis can lead to schizophrenia, don't you? It may also lead to other mental health issus (such as users becoming paranoid, panicky, etc.) It effects your coordination (drug driving is as bad as if not worse than drink driving), it can lead to breathing problems as well as lung cancer, it leads to heart problems, lowers sperm count, it may lead to learning difficulties, not to mention it's addictive which last I checked was a bad thing.

Now her life is pretty much ruined - she got pregnant at 16, she was kicked out of school (not because she was found out, but because of course marijuana effects personality.) Before being kicked out however, she went to the very bottom of all her classes. Now she sells coffee at a supermarket.

hi my name is Nathan i have been smoking weed since i was 13 I'm now 18, I use it because I have adhd and aspergers I think it helps me calm down decrees my anxiety, i have tried other things like Ritalin and clonidine and i mix of the two; it did help a little bit BUT nothing compared to cannabis.

i hav seen people gain many benifit including in cancer treatment, see for me this video seems very false and fact they giv no sources for their quotes from the spanish research make me beleive this is a hoax, i say research it ur self look for the research! their are also many other videos that are actually reliable. good luck to those who seek the truth and discard the ignorant

These people are telling it as they find it. That is what people do... Seeing is believing. It's also about CHOICE.. Everyone chooses what path they walk in life. You vote for a politician, that's choice. You may or may not smoke or drink, that's choice. If you have cancer or an other disease, you should be able to choose your medicine, the white-coat way or the natural way, your choice. I'd rather eat hemp cannabis oil than be subject to radiation or chemo. SIMPLY... GIVE US THE CHOICE.

dom, it doesn't matter whether it's smoked or taken orally - Cannabinoids, the molecules that get you high, also possess anticancer properties. They cut tumors off from a blood supply and also cause them to self destruct (apoptosis). This doesn't mean that smoking pot is a guarantee you won't die of cancer - it depends on the greater context of your lifestyle obviously. In order to utilize cannabis as an effective anti-cancer you have to balance it against your exposure to carcinogens.

But seriously, smoking it is a waste in terms of its anti-cancer activity. While cannabinoids retain their anti-cancer properties as smoke, there are definitely much more efficient ways of applying it specifically as an anti-cancer.
And dom, don't think that because something fights cancer, that it will necessarily win every time. That being said, Cannabis does put up one hell of a fight. Look up Manuel Guzman's research on this.

I'm a doctor and then started referring patients to The Hemp Foundation clinics in Wa and Or. "The Politics of Healing" is a book that discusses other suppressed,non-toxic cancer cures;noteably the Universal Oral Vaccine and Dr Burzynskis "antineoplastons".
