  • How hard is it to arrange to get grease from restaurants these days? What kind of restaurant would be most receptive? Do I offer to buy their used oil, or to dispose of it for free?

  • cia will prob kill him now for telling

  • I wonder what modifications had to be made in order for the biofuel to work?

  • Runs in a standard diesel engine.

  • its a good idea to have a fuel warmer

  • @lesterclaypool1 I thought that I had read that the bio diesel solidifies when it gets cold. It said, for that reason it needed to be mixed with gasoline. Can you use a "fuel warmer" instead?

  • @GoingOrganic1 yes a warmer would works well ,,, but i believe you use regular diesel as the add mix,,,,and the dirtier the better

  • @lesterclaypool1 So can you just use the warmer and avoid mixing in the regular diesel?

  • @GoingOrganic1 from what i can tell ,,, the diesel was made to run on vegetable oil in the first place ,,, but you must check the ph of the oil before using it thats the only catch ,,, you dont want it to be to acidic but thats the easy part ,,, and make sure you ilter it good ,,, and from what i can tell the dirtier the better ,, or the more used the better

  • Very good idea.

  • its not new the diesel engine was made to run on no hydro carbon fuel they developed diesel fuel for the engine ,

  • adolf diesel originally ran his invention on seed oil

  • thats what im saying ,,, and they can run under water too
