dude can u guys stop playing music when a aircraft is in flight dude like i want to here the aircrafts engine not the shittty music u put i gave this video thumbs down
I was on the Independance of the Seas last week when the USS Bataan docked at Palma. I had a great view of it being towed in by tugboats from my balcony. I guessed it had come from Libya (which I have now confirmed via internet). I just typed in LHD-5 which is written on its hull to find out which ship it was. Anyone have any idea what exactly it was doing in Palma? I have no idea about the Navy and have no idea whether it was making a pitstop or if it was damaged.
These aircraft actualy have one of the lowest accident ratings for military aircraft. there were a few notable accidents early on that gave them a bad name
IM guessing that they would be fucked if they were hovering and had an engine failure, but if they were flying a plane, they would cut the engines and glide to safety.
@jimkiller12, same with most helicopters. Just cut of the power in the other engine so it doesn't go out of control, try to glide it, and breach for impact, that's why machenics check this machine all the time to make sure it doesn't fail.
how does the osprey survive a single engine failiure? can it at all? most aircraft can glide to safety (well... maybe not most heavy duty aircraft...) and I'm pretty sure helicopters have a way of landing with an engine failiure... but the osprey? someone work with me here xD
@McMuffin103 the super stallion was built up and from the ch-53e sea dragon which is a variant of the ch53 pavelow, so its fair to say that the super stallion is a type of pavelow
@Iodrome You have no idea what you're talking about. The CH-53 "Pave Low" helos were Air Force versions combat SAR versions of the CH-53A through D series airframes. All of them were equipped with two engines. NO Pave Low airframes were CH-53E variants. Further more, the CH-53E was originally developed to meet Marine Corps heavy-lift requirements; the MH-53E Sea Dragon was developed FROM the CH-53E and put into service for the Navy YEARS after the CH-53E began service with the Marines.
@Soundofstereos Not really, quite the opposite, the US army has been using things like these for ages, try "US aricraft" on wikipedia, and anyway these are dangerous things to pilot, take a chinook any day.
@borbor122 your a fkn asshole.... Even Statlin himself told the Tupolev OKB to copy every thing from the B-29. It was Reverse-Engineered u idiot.Go get some evidence next time before u comment and also how did we rip Germans off of nuclear knowledge?Get the fk outta here...
@fireshao30 Oh, I fogot, reverse engineering a highly complex plane is easy!
Do you realy think that? Come on, shut down your playstation man and read some lectures of avionik and mechanical engineering. Or arent you able to do that.
And Planes for the same purpose often have the same shape. Fluid dynamiks defines that.
