For those of you having trouble with the zsnes roms this glitch works correctly at the screen with Samus' ship. Just use the door at the far left.

@Tyranitar635 It sets off the zebes explosion when I do it there. I fire the beam and the ship turns orange, I jump in and it takes me away.

mine doesnt work, im using ZSNES and all it does is either:

-Set off self destruct system or

-Go to next room, freeze, and go black

@Rhakzor757 Start from Samus's ship, go right, through super missile door, past the tube and the flying enemies, through the Power Bomb door, and do it there. With the beam activated and ready to shoot, have the door to the left open, and turn and run at it. Just as you're about to go through it, shoot then. Samus will jolt a couple of times, and green stuff appears at the top. The reset glitch will be activated.

Ahh the wonders that you can do with constant self-modifying code... Super metroid, I love you.

Also, this won't destroy the games SRAM. It'll just wipe some of the shit from the zero page on startup and overwrite it with values last stored on save.
