  • I don't think you had anybody there, but I've been long convinced by what I've seen and heard that these devices DO work. Interesting how sometimes the spirits can tune in and other times not. I really ought to buy one, as I have a long list of very interesting (I think, anyway) questions that I'd like to pose to the spirit world. But like everything else, I'd end up getting hooked and spend too much time on it.

  • But is possible that the voices can be result of the radio waves, isn't it?

  • Hey there around 59 seconds in when you asked whats your last name. He says Mcdonald. Its sound like that to me. Great video man.

  • I Know these things work; but they have ALOT of fine tuning to do.

  • so where do i get one of these and how would i build one?

chris moon is of no help every time i ask him questions he just blows them off to return vaig responses. so please help me if you can. thank you so much

  • E-mail me. I'm on AOL, my screen name is urkel23

  • this is so stupid

  • @ 1:00 u can hear a woman say 1950 or 60

  • @okiedokie30 Mike and Christie, I think

  • Yes i get intelligent answers to many questions too.

  • This is real people, are just not willing to understand there are other things beside the human race out there . Humans are very fragial , and this is the reason we are so scared of everything. If we saw a ghost we'd run shitless.

  • Yes, it is very real. I've made a ghostbox out of my radio shack model 587 radio and I get direct answers to my questions consistently and my name called all the time as well.

  • @Prissykittykats not me LOL ive seen them before ur wrong about running LOL

  • the only way this would be accurate is if you were 30 miles into the woods

  • For a device that works off of radio signal snippets for response, that seems pretty dumb to do that. Might as well not have an antenna on it at all.

  • alright then, I guess it's completely worthless

  • hey thats pretty neat...but i thought Chris Moon didn't make them to sell to the public? Did he start?

  • Chris does not make the ghost boxes, frank sumption does. This was given to me by frank, chris is just another researcher using the device.

  • I saw Christopher Moon today, got to go on a ghost hunt with him and he used his original Frank's Box. This Box could be fake, but Moon's box was legit. I didnt believe it until I saw it with my own eyes and heard it with my ears. Absolutley nuts.

  • Chris uses Frank's Box #16, which is a great box as well. Frank makes them all pretty similar in style. Chris also tested this box out before frank gave it back to me with the latest modification and said it worked well.

  • If you look at a static image, your brain automatically tries to find meaning and an image (Matrixing). The Ghost Box is just the same in audio form. The primary purpose of the Human brain is to make sense of our environment, if you give it random sound it will find something to attach meaning to.

It is sad that so many people would rather accept the first answer than actually think logically for just a second and find the truth.

  • If you can have it follow a line of questioning then maybe you will end up with something plausible. This, however, is not that good.

I'm not going to say that communication with the "paranormal" is impossible, but I will not even go as far as saying "the paranormal" exist. As long as people follow the scientific method with emphasis on soundness of findings and REPLICATION of findings, then I cannot complain too much

  • well i just use the Radio Shack hack box and i record everything i get, slow it down on the computer, and i get answers to my questions.

  • My puppy was sleeping until I played this clip. She jumped up, tilted her head to the side and started pawing at the screen. She is whining and turning her head from side to side with her ears perked up. WEIRD.

  • not... really... lol it probebly hurt her ears... dogs do tend to have sensitive hearing :P

  • That poor sun IPX didn't deserve that :(

  • what is the best Ghost Box made? can You get any coherent sentences? It sounds like the McDonalds Order Window. Have You ever got any famous Dead People, like the Guy who played "Peter Tong" on the old Sit Com Batchelor Father?

  • urkel23...you know you're just getting random radio signals don't you?

  • This device is borderline fraud. People selling this lie should have their testicles tied with razor wire and fed to lobsters. Do a youtube search for frank's box telephone to the dead or check out my videos. This device is a joke.

  • I could swear I heard your welcome.

  • More like a ham raido.

  • ok, I understand what you mean now. Yes, if you heard a difference between the two recordings then that would be proof of something. Interesting idea and worth a try maybe, but since I dont believe in the Box I doubt you would ever get any difference. I think EVP research is much closer to scientific proof of spirits. The big problem with the Box is no one can really "prove" it's just a radio show any more than that is a "ghost", unless the spirit says things to prove it is real.

  • when u hear the first guy respond "ben" he has a very deep voice with a slight accent. try n pick that out for any other time. nothing else is recodnizable

  • alot of the answers are clear over the scanning of more then one channel which sugests its not just a radio personality on a certin station saying the word heard.

woulld u consider selling the franks box?

  • i disagree. There isn't any clear answers I can hear. Sounds like randomized radio signals, the scanner inside may hover near certain frequencies long enough to make out a word or two. The "box user" simply is hearing what he wants to hear, which is a word or two that "answers" his "question". Until I hear FULL CLEAR CONVERSATIONS WITH A SPIRIT THAT CAN PROVE HE/SHE IS REALLY DEAD I will never believe this.

  • well, i think most people can hear the "ben" which is odd concidering u cant hear anything else clearly and the question happened to be whats your name, it deserves a look, atleast just to explain it- because theres more then just chance going on here. iv listened to chris moon franksbox sessions and heard similar direct answers to questions. perhaps if it is played for someone who cant hear the question to see if they hear the same 'answer' as the questioner did, it would have more legs

  • The "Ben" is just coincidence--think about it, most radio talk/sports shows will have many people saying many different names of people as they talk..also, read what I said at the top of the comments--there's a lot of subtle stuff radio signals do(any ham operator can tell u all about them) and what may seem "paranormal" can easily be explained. What I don't get is how the people "think" these voices are dead people. There is no evidence to suggest it isn't just talk shows and music.

  • listen to see if u can hear any full words like the 'ben' u hear. i cant. if the theory is correct u shud be able to record the sound the franksbox makes and ask any question. if the sound changes compared to the recording then something is obviously happening. if the sound is the same but u hear otherwise its just us hearing what we want to hear. thats a clearcut way 2 test this and explain it

  • I don't quite understand what you mean...what do you mean by "sound changes?" I think the only sure-fire way to prove this theory is to have clear conversations with a "dead" person who can PROVE they are a spirit (and not some hoaxer). I understand the investigators' theory..but why would spirits "need" these radio voices to "Talk"? Who came up with this crazy idea? EVP is not the same as this...that is imprinting of voices on tape/digital, this whole radio theory is a hoax-job to me.

  • the idea is that the spirits use the sound to form words. well if u record the franks box noises instead of using live radio and ask questions as u would with live radio, any answer u get SHOULD change the sound. if u compar the sound u play to the original recording any change shows something is happening. if the sound is the same it means ur just hearing things.

  • I think if you did that, you'd simply hear your recording of the live radio. Why do u think it would be different? I think the theory is that the signal has to be live so they can "modulate it", I don't think they can modulate a recording. I understand the "form words" theory..I guess it COULD be possible, but there's no solid evidence that the voices aren't simply radio shows etc..I would like someone to post a real good "conversation" sometime with convincing answers to numerous questions.

  • the "echo box" is apparently what they use. the echo box is a speaker with a mic in it. the mic then plays to a speaker outside the box. so if u used a recording in that box instead of live radio it should have the same effect. if they were using just the radio waves u shouldnt need 2 change channels. the point i was trying to make is that ur saying the radio is too random if u record the radio its no longer radio its predictable by the original recording.

  • But isn't the recording no longer a signal u could modulate then? How can "spirits" change the recording when it's not an RF signal anymore, it's just a recording. I think the theory dictates the RF signal is what gets modulated...I have to go to bed now but I will respond to u tomarrow thanks for your input.

  • so record radio and transmit it on one frequency, leave the echo box recieving that. then ask questions and record the output. any difference is evidence of some kind

  • RADIO SINGLES

  • All this is doing is hacking up AM radio signals and going through them very quickly--that's why it sounds like bleeps, bloops, and snippets of people talking. You can simulate it buy taking your radio at home, and twisting the dial back and forth quickly. What I want to see is Chris Moon himself playing clear audio of his "conversations" with Thomas Edison he claims to have on a daily basis, where Edison gives him technical advice on how to improve the box. So let's hear some of that??

  • LMAO. TUCHE!!!!

  • I t does sound like an am dial being turned rapidly doesn't it?

  • because that's exactly what it is. Frank's Box's parts come from old car radios (Frank said that himself on C2C). Basically it just scans through radio signals in the AM and FM band either linearly or randomly(the user can choose between them). Either way, it's just basically a scanner. Since it may "hover" by chance near a frequency for a short time (also radio channels sometime echo on other frequencies), you may be able to make out a word or two from radio shows/commercials etc..

  • this does work I seen it on shows.

  • I'm actually suprised you hear tons of analog signals coming through but when he asked if anyone wanted to speak they poped out very clearly with what seemed to be a response above all the mesh of signals. It made my hair stand up

  • Also, you should know that spirits cannot make their own noise/voices. They have to manipulate sound that already exists and we have to provide it for them.

  • And you know this how? No one really knows. It is not an exact, proven science...yet. So we keep looking and listening.

  • Wow! At 00:59 after "Do you have a last name?" you hear clear as day: "McDonald". Then shortly after "Can you say my name?" at 2:08 you can clearly hear "Urkel". Sorry disbelievers but a phone booth to the other side is coming to a street corner near you, not too long from now. Post more!

  • I did a similar thing with my sister when we were kids. I tuned into the police frequencies and told her I was talking to the cops. She believed me!

  • this is pure fake,he`s making up answers, and all thats really there are voices from random stations.a sucker is born every minute... fake!!!!
