  • The crash is at 5:58 for those who want to know...

  • why do some cars put there indicators on?

  • @wingman662 its not like hes driving on slicks, and i wouldnt class a 330ci as a real car its a bag of shit. the only decent beemers have M on them.

  • @TheExPeRTxHD Bimmer*, Beemers are BMW motorcycles.

    Fail.

  • hey dude im going to this race track on friday evening it will be the first time ill be there and it looks cool ill be show to also get footage

  • the auto box is so sssslllloooowww

  • why are going like 10 MPH ?

  • i can get this shit driving down the M1 traaaaaafic

  • Well it was nice to hear that the guys recording were sympathetic towards the ferrari owner.

  • DRIVER OF FERRARI IS VERY VERY RETARDATED....

  • Lol over taken by a Ford focus :)

  • Lame automatic.

  • The 355 doesn't lock up underbreaking, the rear loses traction because he doesn't heal and toe. Because of the 355's loud howling exhaust you can tell he's not revmatching his downchanges. At the exact moment the back steps out he's just gone down a gear, as he's let the clutch out without heal and toe-ing the sudden missmatch in revs has caused the rear wheels to lose traction for a second, and because he was on the brakes and was already turning there is only one result!

  • isn't the first driver behind the car that crashes supposed to stop and call the track safety ppl??

saw that once in a clip

  • This is what happens when you don't rev match. Stupid.

  • if you can`t drive a ferrari!!! don`t buy it !!!!!

  • I like this video, cause the dudes in the car didn't laugh at all. They were sorry for the car and it's driver altough he/she was rich person who can't handle a really good car. And that's the right way I think. In eastern Europe people just laugh when somebody crashes an expensive car just becuse they can't afford one. Me neither, but I love cars and a crashed Ferrari is a sad thing.

  • the nurburgring is a race track for fuck sakes why is everyone driving like fucking grannies?

  • @dylanv100 because it's one of the most dangerous race track , so when it's raining, and there's a lot of cars around you, driving safe is the most intelligent thing to do.....

  • hes going so slow theres a traffic jam behind him XD

  • Ferrari + Wet + right foot stab = loss of traction + panic = Braking = WALLOP!

Einstein needed for a good formula lol

  • The Ferrari sounded nice.

  • crash at 5:57

  • that ferrari driver really is a bad driver! :p do not keep pushing the brake when a car starts sliding.

  • muahhh the Ferrari driver has no skills...soo funny.

The most expansive cars are drive by noobs!

  • Damn. That sucks. The 355 is my favorite Ferrari. Call me a pussy, but I'd NEVER take my car on a wet track like that.

  • @tjrosenberry: its actually forbidden to stop on the Track. There are Marshals to check on crashers!

  • XD lol I like this one:"ohhh nooo mann" "shiiiiiit" "did you get it on the camera" LOL

  • Isn't it the rule at the ring if your the first car to see a accident to stop and check on the driver, even if it is a low speed crash?

  • tell the driver driving is not about shifting gears but is more about pressing the throttle.

  • why you cry about him??he is rich dudes

  • Poor guy wasn't even pushing that hard.

  • i like the bit where the Ferrari crashes :)

  • @MrSpliff2K9 because you're jealous he has one

  • @FenderUsa not really im fortunate enough for my dad to own an E60 M5 which is just as quick as that particular Ferrari and he also owns a 1961 Corvette (red with white inserts) which i find is sounds better than any Ferrari I have heard. Although i do admit id like to own a Ferrari lol

  • i don't know if the uploader is also tha driver but the bmw driver is horrible... he doesn't knoa even how to turn... :S:S:S:S:S:S:S:S:S:S:S:S

  • @polisloco

Hey, i'm the uploder, but the car isn't mine.

I agree your statement, the only reasons why I uploaded the Video is on one hand the crash and on the other hand the car.

The looks good, but in combination with the automatic and the poor driver it`s horrible on the Nürburgring.

    Yours sincerely

    JPM

  • @aprilia123 man you are driving really slow and when you are suppesed to drive in a truck the first thing you do is to turn on the edge of the corner... but if the car wasn't yours ok... i would have done the same as you.. i wouldn't like to crash it... sorry :)

  • @polisloco @polisloco Sorry, I forget to say: I'am also not the driver. ;-)

Thats my driving style in my old Bmw: youtube.com/watch?v=pBkgl7sdj74

  • Comment removed

  • @polisloco I'll agree with that, he can't drive for shit.

  • ahh poor...

  • "it's a shame".... REV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • car -> Top

    driver -> Flop

  • Nice to see the driver of the BMW obeys the rules and stops to raise awareness of the incident, being the first car at the scene of an accident!

What you did is considered as leaving the scene of an accident!

  • OMG this is 1 boring video why would you upload this i nearly fell asleep

  • Just some battlescars on the bodywork.

If you can buy a car like that a new paintjob isnt that big of a deal

    Nooooooo NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LMAO !!!!! lol

  • but you know they are car guys, cuz when it crashed they were like nooooo all aluminum v8 awsome rare italian sports car!

  • Love that track soooo much. But soooo dangerous.

  • Shift lock at shifting down without double clutching... probably not a F1 gearbox. Impossible to handle on tricky road, even at low speed !

  • Dick he didnt lock it up! under breaking the back steped out. And he was to slow to do enything about it.

  • Hahaha what a tit... Next time... Use the accelerator?

  • That BMW sounds an looks so boring to drive.

  • @smilli3

Trust me it's not. I just wrecked mine

  • I don't really get how that happened. My only guess was he was turning too sharply. He wasn't gunning it or anything. BUT, he probably has more than enough money to get it fixed, so that's good.

  • The way that happened was by entering the turn at too great a speed for his driving abilities. He was nervous and stayed on the brakes as he turned in. This is a HUGE "no-no" in MR or RR cars because when the chassis "leans forwards" under braking it takes the weight off the rear tires . This creates less normal force on the rear tires, which they need to develop friction with the road surface, and since so much of an MR or RR car's momentum is over the rear tires, the back end easily comes out.

  • the makes me feel fucking great lol

  • ahahahah stupid driver ferrari

  • crash at 5:54 :) :)

  • It'll polish out.....

  • u have 2 be a big ass mooron to drive medal to the pedal car on a wet track...hello..WET TRACK!! a "not"driver siting behind a ferrari...damn...! watch out next time..go learn how to drive proper ferrari then learn how to drive THIS ferrari ona a track!

  • Comment removed

  • Except he wasn't going pedal to the metal (*)

  • @XxTabasc0xX ...yeah right...,that corner, where ferari crashes,u can just go straight and slide into the outside wall,if u're speeding, but when u open to much the throtle in the middle of a turn, then, the wet track have no more much grip, then u have this scenario..a crash in the innerside of the wall...simple is that :)

  • obviously you have never driven a ferrari... you're a tit.

  • @Mirage8v Nor have you, I'll wager. This guy took his new, mid-engined, high-powered car out onto a soaked track complete with no skills; lots of nervousness; and probably all season 335's. A Ferrari doesn't handle any better in that situation than any other car driven by the same guy. He would've crashed an MX-5 in the same place.

  • @Axetele How wrong you are good sir. 328, 348's, 355's and a 550. Of which all except the 550 on a track. And they are not that high power really. Especially with how much they weigh as well.

  • @Mirage8v 335 referred to the rear tire treadwidth. There's no way he re-shod his car with rain tires for a trackday, so he was probably out there with high performance summer tires. Which is why it looked like he was on ice when he went into the wall.

  • 5:44

    Ahhh :( poor Ferrari

I know its a classic thing but still lovely

shut the hell up for people who dont care!!

  • for everyone looking angrily through the video for it, its right at 5:44 or around there...

  • Oh shit, shit, shit, No way, he was under braking , oh shit, shit, no way...did u get it on camera???WTF?!! Lol...

  • Regarding insurance a mate of mine had a mildly tuned Impreza. He was honest and told his insurance company he was visiting the ring for a couple of days, they covered his entire time, including travellng there and back, and recovery of the car back to the UK if he stuffed it, for £1200 which he reckoned was worth paying. All was fine and the car came back without a scratch.

  • haha the poor guy crashed and they are like ohshit ... did you get it on camera haha

  • LOL!

  • maybe you should at that the crash happens at 5:50

  • luckily he was only going about 30-40 mph

  • Unless your insurance company specifically states in the policy, that cover on the Nurburgring is excluded, you should be ok albeit have a chew on. My mate binned his fireblade and they paid out

  • I'm not sure who told you that graham but nearly all standard insurance policies state that they do not cover for racing, track driving or competition. Those are separate polices and even then 99% of those policies do not cover you for the Ring.

Drivers who do the Ring do so at thier own risk, if you bin it you pay for it, that's how it is.

  • Well 20yrs in insurance helps!!! The ring is not a race track 'IT IS A TOLL RD', the policy has to be very specific and state nurburgring as it is unique. My mate officially was on a toll rd and not racing!

  • I totally understand that it is a toll road and 'technically' insurance companies 'should' cover you unless they explicitly state the Ring as an exclusion but the reality is that they don't, as they will argue that the Ring is considered a track for insurance purposes.

If you speak to people who have had collisions at the Ring they will tell you how important it is to have the car removed as far from the Ring as possible and even then insurance companies can get suspcious and refuse cover.

  • Yea point taken, and irrespective of my comments, I would not suggest that anybody assumes they are covered on the ring. I will be there again in May, roll on!

  • Good comment and well said. Good luck for May you lucky man :)

  • The first person at the scene of an accident is supposed to stop... Witness and all things like that, I'd be pissed if I crashed and no-one stopped to see if all was good...

  • @philgt4 the driver was okay if you see the crash you can see that nothing happend he will phone the saftycar and all is okay

  • Love how the guys almost begin crying.

  • handbrake ? then he would just crash faster

  • timeline 5:57 is crash to whom who cant wait.

Nice set of BMW-s on track :)

  • @maasikamammi thx for the time dude

  • @maasikamammi Good man! I was about to switch off.

  • automatic gearbox

  • it was easily avoidable he should of let off the break and put opposite lock on

  • heartbreaking, nice vid tho, im planning on visiting the ring in august

  • Cant believe you didnt stop.... Being as it is a public toll road under German law you are supossed to stop at the scene of an accident. You risk being prosecuted if you dont and are found out..

  • A public toll road? hahahah have you ever been there? It's a closed road. If you crash there ... no insurance.. no nothing... and def no one who is being prosecuted. Maybe if you kill some one during the race... But not for something like that... the Ferrari driver just underestimated the wetness of the road. He was breaking and steered to sharp in to the bend.

  • I have been there about 8 times... And you are supposed to stop at an accident and driving on the ring without insurance is technically illegal.

Check the laws... Its a public road.

  • I've also been there a couple of times I race a lot on the TT circuit of Assen and in Zandvoort. There is no insurance company that covers the risks of racing(as far as I know). Okay maybe Delta Lloyd (that will cover anything) but it will a pretty expensive insurance. I think you just mean that the car has to be in "normal" conditions. And I also agree with you that if it is a really bad crash and there are no marshals to help the crashed driver than you stop. This was just a little crash.

  • I got talking to a German policewoman last time I was there. The Ring is owned by Stadt Rheinland Pfalz (like the council), & managed by Nurburgring GmbH. There are speed limits & it's officially a public toll toad. UK insurance may wangle their way out of paying any claim on there, but the rest of Europe doesn't. It may not be a UK public toll road, but it most definitely is a public toll road.

  • You're wrong LeoVies, the Ring 'is' subject to the same basic laws as the German highway. Despite the fact it is track it is considered as a public road and German Law applies just the same. If you break those laws you can be flagged in for a penalty or even prosecuted.

  • Bullshit. The Ring is a Racetrack in Germany, and not on the same "level" like the Highways or any other Streets in Germany. There are just Days on wich everybody can drive for Money. Your Insurance must secure Racetrack crash's or your done if you crash on the ring.

  • hehehe... German law? Keh?

    It's a closed loop egghead.

  • mrbalshott go fuck your grantourismo game coz obviously thats were you get your knowledge about racing from!

  • Jesus what a boring video !!

God knows why he's driving so slow on the 'ring !!

  • crash at 6:00

  • thanks, driving sucks.

  • thank you very much!

  • No matter how retarded they're driving was i would have reacted the same way simply because it was a ferrari.. 'oooooh nooo way, shiiit!'

  • 1st rule = never brake in a corner

  • your a cock.what the fuck do you know.if you didnt brake in a corner round the nurburgring you d never brake??!?loser

  • do you actually understand anything about how grip works?

so what your saying is that there are no straights what so ever on the circuit? here is a suggestion, read a book about motorsport and then drive round the ring yourself before you comment on things, becuase if you had been round it you'd know there are tonnes of breaking points before corners!

stop thinking your better than everybody else, why do you think so many people have agreed with me and not you.....? durh!

  • Go drive the nurburgring playstation muppet and see for ya self, btw no book can describe the nurburgring. GO DRIVE YERSELF AMATURE

  • lol priceless, that my rich friend is called mid rear lift off oversteer and no amount of TC would have saved him.

  • lllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the 330ci. sounds like you have auto though.

  • grats

  • fucking guttedddddddddddddddddd

thats why you dont get cocky in a car that you carnt handle

  • So glad I bought a 6 speed manual and not an auto :).

  • thats what happends when your rich and drive like shit
