@DeityDestroyer To be a Atheist one would have to be omniscient knowing all things having a perfect knowledge of the universe, to say they absolutely know God does not exist. For one to do this they would have to personally inspected all places in the present known universe and in all time, having explored everywhere seen and unseen. I heard this in my church. My youth pastor played this, and it affected me in a strange way. I wanted to hear this again. I haven't been the Christian I should be, but I know God is always forgiving, always loving, full of mercy and grace. This sermon should affect anyone, no matter what faith you pertain to. On the other hand, I also believe that God is always in control, and that nothing happens outside of his divine power. I know that seems like a contradiction, and there are probably people who have a better answer than this, but I don't know. I don't have answer for you. Believe me, I wish I did, but I don't. as children, all of us are atheists until given instruction by loving parents or clergy and not until we have reached the age of accountability can we declare a personal belief and or faith in a savior. This most eloquent litany gives the unbeliever many guideposts in a faith journey and gives the veteran believer joy as it resounds deep within.

I do recognize that there are approx 5000 Gods in existence.
One intriguing possibility is that we may be a type of molecule (planet) inside a type of cell (universe) inside a type of entity...
God is as aware of us, as we are aware of a molecule inside a cell inside one of our organs.

Are we to believe that the earth is hung on giant golden chains, held by Atlas, sitting on the backs of turtles, or hanging on nothing over empty space? One of these is true and you can find it in the bible. The rest are pure rubbish therefore get rid of that belief system. The bible is not a religious book. It is a book of historical records.

@DeityDestroyer To be a Atheist one would have to be omniscient knowing all things having a perfect knowledge of the universe, to say they absolutely know God does not exist. For one to do this they would have to personally inspected all places in the present known universe and in all time, having explored everywhere seen and unseen. Things of there is matter or things invisible to say unequivocally God does not exist.
In order for something to exist, there has to be a Designer. A Creator..

No killing, stealing, death, homeless, wealth/poverty, we are all equal. Heaven is whatever you want it to be. Why would you want to leave. I heard this in my church. My youth pastor played this, and it affected me in a strange way. I wanted to hear this again. I haven't been the Christian I should be, but I know God is always forgiving, always loving, full of mercy and grace. This sermon should affect anyone, no matter what faith you pertain to. Glory to God.

You think Christians are people brought up to follow the "herd" ? Try going to the other side of the world some time. Those in other religions who are finding and experiencing Jesus for themselves are being imprisoned, beaten and even dieing for it. Check the news sometime. A church in Kenya was just burned down. 50 people died for their faith.

And in reply: I, myself being an ex-christian know sort of what you mean, but then when i opened my eyes and actually stepped back and took a clear view of what was going on and weighed up the evidence i realised that i couldn't possibly believe what i used to. To say the Bible isn't true is just about the most ignorant thing anyone could ever say. Science/history has proven over 3/4 of the Bible to be almost 100% accurate as far as people, places, wars, stories, miracles. They are documented else where as well, by non-Christians to even further prove the Bible correct.
Being faithful is not believing he will, its knowing he will.

i can c how religion can get u upset. i don't like it either. but i can say this, Jesus saved my marriage, cured my wife from cancer, and healed my mind when i got back from iraq and i wanted to kill myself. i know he's real from all the miracles i have seen and no one can tell me different.

1. the world is round.
2. the world hangs on nothing.
3. the inner earth is hot.

regardless of what i did in combat that made me want to take my own life, Jesus healed my broken mind. i didn't call out to any other God but Jesus. the release i felt, it is unexplainable. no medicine, doctors, psychiatrists or crazy house He healed my mind. i hope i'm not sounding disrespectful because that is the last thing i want 2 do 2 u is disrespect u. Sorry your way off, Hitler was a Christian, and he used christianty to start his march to purify human race. Poll Pot was understood that when large populations of cities arise, corruption also arises, prostitution, drugs, cities are the nucleus for the phychological sickness of man. Look at New York, Hong Kong, Berlin, Moscow, L.A.

Hitler was not a christian his speeches have no biblical basis, he through some religous words in to sound good. You tell a christian by their conduct not by what they say (the bible). He was a good public speaker and had no worries using any means to persuade people. What this man stood for opposes everything christ stood for.

When Christians big name christians sin, you here about it everywhere and it becomes a focus for the media. Their are plenty of wholesome people who endever with christ to live a godly life. They out weigh the ones who do the wrong thing. Look at the wesley brothers, billy graham, mother teressa, martin luther king, st patrick of island. hudson taylor, william carrey, the 12 disciples. All incredible people who turned their world upside down because their conduct matched up with their words.

Honest answer: I don't know. On the one side I believe that God is love and that to condem people to die without even giving them a chance. On the other hand, I also believe that God is always in control, and that nothing happens outside of his divine power. I know that seems like a contradiction, and there are probably people who have a better answer than this, but I don't know. I don't have answer for you. Believe me, I wish I did, but I don't. Do I belive that God is in control?
