What I find interesting is that the Autobots Transformation sound is the typical Anime Sound Effect and the Decepticons have the Classic Transformation Sound.

Well compared to how Animated looks, I say this is more Super Sentai like, Animated looks more Superman-esque. But even as this looks like a sentai, it's not like they combine to one or anything.

Hard to rate this. It's definetely cheesy, but then again so was the American-aired transformers. It's okay as anime can get if you see it as an anime, but it's definetely got a different feel than the earlier g1 or Armada.

Well you have to realize that the American came up with the concepts and Japanese changed them. The concept of Powermasters, for example, was completely altered in Masterforce, where it is a human named Ginrai who becomes a giant robot who looks just like Powermaster Optimus Prime. No matter how they would've dubbed it, they couldn't have changed that.
