Don't skate without health insurance, pads and helmet unless you're just taking it easy and safe.

When you learn how to knee slide, tuck and roll, etc. you'll know how to bail and feel confident when bailing. Some of these injuries are very serious. It's not cool to be stupid skating with no helmet.
