Tamil and Sanskrit are compared often which one is very old.. India's first classical language is Tamil, not even Sanskrit. Tamil is one of the world's 7 classical language. A Classical language should not be a derived one from other language. You decide now. :p

I am a Tamilian but Sanskrit is also a language that is not derived from any other language. Greek, Latin, Hebrew & Chinese are the others. All other languages on earth are derived from these languages with Latin being the source of most of the languages.

Latin includes so many Sanskrit Words and few tamil words... Orange fruit in Sanskrit is Naranj... In latin it is Naranja... And many sanskrit words are there... In tamil Rose color is called ROJA...
