Dude..this isn't an Epic moment, this is a SAD moment, the death of Lelouch should be an international holiday, if you want an EPIC code Geass moment, get the scene where he controls the world, now THAT was epic.
I tear up everytime I watch this, no matter how many times I do. It's so well done. Western shows should take a hint from stuff like this, on how to better implement drama...they do a piss poor job of it as of right now. A.K.A, The Walking Dead.

I think that if he didn't die his resolve and sacrifice would be fake. Him ultimatively sacrificing himself at the end for the world was the beauty of the scene. Merely the thought of him being immortal ruins it a little for me.

I remember I cried during this scene... best part was when Lelouch and Suzaku were talking and they explained what was going to happen. Saddest part had to be when Nunnally was crying, "Oni-sama!" over and over (in Japanese of course)
So in regards to them making a third season with Lelouch, Does anyone know how their doing it. My little idea: Lelouch completed his contract to C.C & became imortal so even though he got stabbed he'll come back to life later like C.C did. Asume new identity and that's where they'll start off.

the way suzaku pulled the sword out of lelouch, the way lelouch fell and slid down the sloped surface and the way Nunnaly screamed and cried while everyone was cheering was awesome and I couldn't help but laugh all the while I was feeling sad that Lelouch died. You know it's like laughing while crying or sliding while rolling. It's strange and mixed but that's how I felt. ALL HAIL LELOUCH!

I don't think people quite understand what Lelouch intentions were.
He brought himself up against War, Corruption, Despair, and not to mention Dramatical moments just to clear the World from the Wars Britania brought upon the World in the Animation. In otherwords, he went through Mud and Stones, Ocean and Waves, Hell and Fire, just to bring Justice and a Peaceful World restored. Which is why I think this Animation is one of the Greatest! :D
I don't think think was sad. This was happy because the world was not consumed by war, but rather it focused on world hunger and the people of the world. I think personally the only sad thing is that Shirley died earlier in the series. I don't mind that Lelouch died because he wanted that to happen so that the world would thrust all their anger on him instead of the other leaders at the time.
This is such masterpiece. To be able to blend so many genre into one and still so awesome in all areas. There is no way anything that be better made than Code Geass.

Its almost like he's playing a neo-Jesus, who would take lives in order to create world peace, in the end, even taking his own... but he doesn't die (if you understand the concept of having Geass in both eyes and having seen the last 5 minutes of this episode in Japanese Dub)

I think that if he didn't die his resolve and sacrifice would be fake. Him ultimatively sacrificing himself at the end for the world was the beauty of the scene. Merely the thought of him being immortal ruins it a little for me.

I remember I cried during this scene... best part was when Lelouch and Suzaku were talking and they explained what was going to happen. Saddest part had to be when Nunnally was crying, "Oni-sama!" over and over (in Japanese of course)

So in regards to them making a third season with Lelouch, Does anyone know how their doing it. My little idea: Lelouch completed his contract to C.C & became imortal so even though he got stabbed he'll come back to life later like C.C did. Asume new identity and that's where they'll start off.

At the middle their he says to Suzaku this will be your curse; To which he responds 'I accept that Geass!' Could that be them making a contract?

the way suzaku pulled the sword out of lelouch, the way lelouch fell and slid down the sloped surface and the way Nunnaly screamed and cried while everyone was cheering was awesome and I couldn't help but laugh all the while I was feeling sad that Lelouch died. You know it's like laughing while crying or sliding while rolling. It's strange and mixed but that's how I felt. ALL HAIL LELOUCH!

I don't think people quite understand what Lelouch intentions were.
He brought himself up against War, Corruption, Despair, and not to mention Dramatical moments just to clear the World from the Wars Britania brought upon the World in the Animation. In otherwords, he went through Mud and Stones, Ocean and Waves, Hell and Fire, just to bring Justice and a Peaceful World restored. Which is why I think this Animation is one of the Greatest! :D

I don't think think was sad. This was happy because the world was not consumed by war, but rather it focused on world hunger and the people of the world. I think personally the only sad thing is that Shirley died earlier in the series. I don't mind that Lelouch died because he wanted that to happen so that the world would thrust all their anger on him instead of the other leaders at the time.
