I dont understand why Harman makes their subs so open. The speaker itself could be damaged easily ! most sub speakers are covered with grill or something. i gues they made that purposely like that so you can buy another one soon :D damn you Harman Kardon !

Yeah the serie you have has covers.. but most Harman home theaters doesnt have covers for the subspeaker. The Jbl home theater i have JBL SCS200.5 does not have covers neither the Harman Kardon itself speakers and subs..

Nice... I use JBL as surround speakers. With these, you should use at least a Denon receiver, but if you want something even better, go with Marantz or H/K :)

@showmak It's amazing. Big clear picture, and powerful, but still clean sound. That's how a homecinema shall sound! JBL home theater is one of the best choices to choose when u buy a home theater :D

@krakpatsboem JBL E 100. No, I don't have a problem with the overheat. Got one more reciver from Onkyo and don't see the problem there either.. Got more problems with overheat on Yamaha recivers. The Yamaha I use on my Cerwin Vega made funny noises after I played loud..
