  • I am hopefully going to upload my show choir doing this song but I might not be able to because it will be during our veterans day ceremony. We sound amazing(not to brag), its just an AMAZING song. we had kids in our class almost cry when our teacher let us listen to it. but we do the original version and the soprano's(i am one of them) have to get a high note in the chorus and there is only 4 of us so it is really high. Luckily this choir is really big. we only have 20 people in our show choir.

  • These is so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. I love choir music!

  • wow, this sounds so wonderful :)

  • Great sound

  • Anyone heard Paul Aitken's version? It's REALLY powerful. It is quite a bit faster, but it still captures the morbidity of war and death. There are a lot of strong contrasts in the piece, and I have to say that I prefer it to this version.

  • its so small...... when i sang in that choir it was huge. We had an issue getting everyone on the stage.

  • i always wondered, a canadian wrote flanders field right? but im sure McCrae was talking about everyone in the world that fought. Just what if, we took that meaning to heart, have choirs around the world, and sing infront of Flanders Field?

  • ... Is the person taking this vid crying, and coughing? Or is it just me.. Anyways, Its rlly beautyfull :)

  • Were singing this song! I love the Tenor part haha and its faster than this =/

  • <3 i love this song.

  • Does anyone know who arranged this version of In Flanders Fields? I'm looking for a SATB version.

  • I know i misspelled her name, and M. Gravley much love also she made us the best.

  • i was in bhs choir, we sang this in like 03 maybe i graduated 05. i think a1p1 tenor dude does not blend in, the baritone bass section should be the strongest part of the chord and it is overpowered which is problematic because you as a group are not enunciating the consonants well enough to bring out the wonderful song. Someone should also give it up to SUSAN MUELLAR for the great song selections she gave for years and she is the only reason that choir was best in state for 20+ years.

  • I'm in this

  • Great song! loved it

  • same here stupidboy32... actually I'm the only tenor... the funny thing is I usually out sing the whole choir

  • that's not something to brag about man.

blending is a good thing! ha.

  • @mikebass90 it depends if he means with quality or with volume. Haha :D

  • @mikebass90 he is right. choir is a team effort. its not a one man show. you shouldnt think of yourself as "better" then anyone either. (im not saying you do) the choir will fall apart and sound like garbage if people turn it into a shouting match to see who can get loudest.

  • Wow....nice Tenor Section.....I'm usually carrying my Tenor Section by myself!

  • Our choir sang this for contest. I love the sound that gathers right above the choir during this song.

  • Norman North AND Bartlesville are the 2 best in the state.

We both always get straight 1's in contest, or at least bartlesville does anyways. : )

  • parts of this song is supposed to be smooth, but there are the shrill cords that sound like nails on a chalkboard that are not supposed to be smooth, they are to remind of the death and chaos of war

  • This choir is one of, if not the best choir in the state of Oklahoma. =D

  • Our Choir is singing that song. You guys did great. What High School is this? Or what state?

  • Who is the arranger of this piece, I have heard many different versions, but this is the best I believe, but I love it done SATB, but was great.

  • Yup, Britney. I remember now. One of the girls from my school, who made both District and State with me, didn't like Britney that much...Thought she was a little too headstrong...But Britney is a Soprano 1, so she IS going to be...

  • Hey now! Sopranos have a reason to be headstrong! lol

Britney is great. She's like my best friend. I went to state last year too.

  • Bartlesville has an amazing Choir Program. If only Grove had the resources you guys do. Mr. Davis tries, but we're too small. I MADE DISTRICT AND STATE LAST YEAR! I can't remember, but there was a beautiful redheaded girl that went to Bartlesville, and she made state like...6 times, and she also took private lessons in NYC or something?

  • one of the best poems ever written by a canadian

  • wow , I love this video . Its amazing . Beautiful voices.

  • I miss Bartlesville Highschool Choir. Im on the back row!

  • OOH!

    I singing this 2

  • i love this video

  • Very impressive. And moving.

  • That's beauiful. I think it's more powerful when only men sing it. Awesome job.
