It sounds very windy at this location. I have the same problem. I'm hoping the tree and shrub plantings will eventually break up the soil eroding wind. Looks like a great plan. Good luck with this project.

Hands on practical experience 50% of the time applying the skills, congratulations sounds like an amazing course. Great too for the students to be able to return in ten years' time to see the productive forest garden.

I wish you had built an Earthship & used that timber for the beams and greenhouse sections.
Are you using an Fukuoka method or still using compost / organic methods?

Permaculture is a way of creating woodland that is structured towards human use. Some call this simply a "food forest".
