Pachirisu doesn't recharge your styler,it sends down electricity down where you tap.But,I like munchlax best.

no the starters don't evolve and pachirisu cause it has the recharge poke assist to give your capture styler more hp

lol thats not true, recharge is a field move, and partners do not have a field move, but i agree pachirisu is the best one

Oh maan I wanted muchlax but when I picked a pokemon to capture I didnt know that the one u picked would be your partner so i just picked the first One I saw which was starly and now STARLYS my partner when it shouldve been MUNCHLAX!

Well you later on in the game there are quests to get more partner pokemon, so dont be too upset. Just be upset with how long it takes.

I started with Starly! Also after beating DarkRai like I have u get to catch the other 2 partner pokemon u didnt choose eg for me i can find munchlax and pacharisu in a quest.

Lol, I actually didn't know that this would determine my first partner pokemon, but when I did it, I decided that I would go for a pokemon that I liked, so I picked Starly. After I captured it, it suddenly wouldn't leave so I was like, "OMG I bet this Starly is supposed to be my partner!"

yup. thats why it says u can transfer riolu manaphy egg and darkrai on to ur DPP. Diamond Pearl Platinum and i just figured that out

here all all of the staters: Munchlax (normal), Turtwig (grass), Chimchar (fire), Piplup (water), Kricketot (bug), Mime Jr. (psychic), Cranidos (rock), Shieldon (steel), Croagunk (poison), Machop (fighitng), Pachirisu (electric), Starly (flying), Hippopotas (ground), Snover (ice), Misdreavus (ghost), Sneasel (dark), and Gible (dragon). all of the avaliabe starters are each 1 of the 17 types in the games. question for someone who knows this: will the game autimaticly choose 3 random starters?

i beat the game yesterday. i picked munchlax. the quest is things that go bump its from ur little sis and she says somehtings up in ur room so when u go up munchlax is jumping on ur bed then i capture it. to get pachirisu go to mrs april at the ranger school and shell say that pachirisu is in the school house under one of the boxes. make bidoof smash them and ull either get a pachirisu doll or the real one. ya cant do the starly one cause it was ur starter. i have all the partners.

K I found out the partner pokemon you can have throughout the game: Starly pachirisu munchlax kricketot croagunk mime.jr cranidos sheildon chimchar sneasel snover misdreavus machop piplup turtwig gible and hippopotas (Im not sure where in the game you get some of these though :P)
