I remember this performance, hehe... it is the best she's done of this song I think.
Before she started playing she said something like: "ok, guys, we're gonna try and do something different... lets hope it works"... I imagin she refered to matching her live vocals up with the backing vocals like it sounds on the album version... she gave the biggest grin at the end there... I guess she was happy it worked. It's beautiful.

It's no big deal. Atleast she isn't lip synching.
She played to a backing track for Bouncing Off Clouds on the Graham Norton show... and didn't try to cover it.
I doubt she'd have the band there if all the instrumental was a backing track being played.
