  • why are all ya fighting? tejano.. made in texas.. but the tejano singers have origins in mexico.. why fight.. enjoy the good music that has been created.. stop being stupid lil 13 year olds on youtube trashtalking for no reason.

  • esta cancion pudo haber sido creada en Nuevo Leon o en Texas, es "TEJANA" nomas porque se creo en Texas, y ya.

asi de facil esta pinches tacuaches dejen de estar peleando.

  • texano o mexicano we are all the same why figth between us texano music is for mexican 2 as well as mexican music is for americans

  • @dato2508 finally somebody understands! im really glad you say this. Tejanos and Mexicanos are brothers. In fact the texas culture was influence alot by the mexican one. The ranch culture was brought by the Spaniards and the the mexican and texmex food is a mix of indian and spaniard food. I dont understand how can Texas be republican when it should the most liberal state. chingao

  • To ga23to it must be dinner time cause you got served by SUNFRIATE lol.

  • David Lee looks like my grandpa lol

  • haha i miss these videos. they had a truck club called "Tonta Truck Club" in Pleasanton, Texas in the mid 90's.

  • fuck you tejano music puro mexico 100% tejano no es mexicano

  • si no te gusta no lo mires ,mocoso baboso!!

  • estos son classicos no chingaderas mexicano se oye todo igual

  • I like David Lee Garza, why can't I find his other song (Aqui Estare) someone please help me find it, I was only able to pull up a video of, a couple drunk young males trying to sing this song and ended up flippin the camera over in the end, on You Tube, We just recently returned from a visit of Corpus Christi ,Robstown TX, we have family there. That is when I tuned into FM 99.9 KSAB and learned of these 2 songs I love. Thanks so much for sharing this, I Love IT.

  • i am mixed dad is mexican, mom is white, and i grew up in the hood up norht and my wife is black and italian. i like tejano music because it is more feeling, more emotion, less confrontational and political. no one wants to deal with sensitive people onthe internet while listening to music.. i like love, call me old school, bobby pulido "llevame", y ojala te animes". makes me happy. but i do love my hustlin' songs too. the old jay z and rick ross. but tejano live forever

  • tejano will live forever a proud texan as myself thanx all of you ppl that appreciate this music so thank you

  • Tejano and Proud!

  • is it me or tejano is dead?

  • Tejano isn't as big as it used to be but I wouldn't say it's "Dead." Tejano music needs another artist like Selena to take it to the Latin International level. Also the main Tejano Station KXTN doesn't promote new Tejano bands, they only play what their main Dj Jonny Ramirez likes.....which is NOTHING! Latino music goes through fads. First Latin Pop was big in the 80's then Tejano/Norteño was big in the 90's now it's Reggeton. Who knows what will be big in 10 years from now.

  • exactly!!! i've been telling people that when selena died so did Tejano, kind of

  • It's true Selena was the only artist who was worthy of winning Grammy awards, Premio Lo Nuestro, and Billboard awards. She was up there competing with Gloria Estefan, Thalia, and others. No Tejano artist today has that flame! We lost a great artist! Pinche Yolanda Culera!

  • @amorhombre Fuck Premio Lo Nuestro and the other Bullshit awards! Viva Real Tejano, groups; La Topa F, David Lee Garza, Emilio Naviara, Selena, Los Palominos, Los Tiranos Del Norte, La Diferencia, Mazz also 2 are roots Los Alegres de Teran, Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete, Javier Solis, Las Jilguerillas, Antonio Aguilar, Vicente Fernandez, Los Tigres Del Norte, Ramon Ayala. No, I don't agree with you that only Selena was artist worthy of winning an award. Great music is great music no matter what.

  • @sombratexas I know you're Tejano and Proud believe me I am too, but have you heard the shit that is called Tejano Music today? No wonder nobody wants to play it! The songs suck, the lyrics suck, and new artists aren't taken into consideration. Selena was at a whole new level. We need someone like her back in Tejano music to take it out of the gutter and get the attention of the big wigs like she did.

  • @amorhombre Nobody was talking about today's tejano music but back then, they also didn't get recognize like with the artist today. It's plain and simple that music is dying. I turn on the radio and I hear literally gay music or that doesn't make sense case in point reggaeton "dame mas gasolina". I guess Tejano should just stay as a memory for those who do remember it, i'll never forget it.

  • I don't think it is dead, I think alot of people don't realize it is the best music for relaxing and enjoying life. I notice alot of people like to listen to music that is to serious. I will make a tejano movie. Bring it back...

  • i wanna make a movie too about that lol

  • Then let's start writing a screenplay...

  • wats it gonna be about? tejano? and wat kind of website?

  • Brainstorming...a website about a tejano movie in the making. As if there is one in pre-production. Maybe it could lead to something. Maybe get people to throw in their ideas. The website to be about anything that can play off the tejano movie concept.

  • a movie about the history of Tejano music. where it came from, who made it famous. lets make an account on here and myspace about it

  • Have you read The Billborad GUide to Tejano and Regional Mexican Music by Ramiro Burr, it might help you with the brainstorming, that book is about the history of tejano music

  • no i haven't. i have to look out for that book

  • Do a search for Burr, because the book is very difficult to get. I had to buy it from Burr because none of the stores I went to had it

  • ok thanks. i'll do that

  • I should get a website made playing with that idea!
