drake sword isnt even that great once you get some of the other embers in the game and upgrade your weapons. Drake sword doesnt scale with anything

I don't know if you've found him yet but there's actually a merchant in the undead burg pretty close to the start. If you go to the area on your right just after you see the dragon for the first time there's a few enemies guarding a staircase hidden under some boxes, if you go down the stairs he'll be through the doorway just after you go down the stairs. Again, I don't know if you've found him yet but he sells some neat stuff. :)

I knew exactly what was going to happen. first, he got all those enemies angry. then he went into the church where the big guy was, and got 4 more people angry. then he got the guy up the stairs, and all the hollows angry. I actually expected he would get to the ladder and climb it, barely escaping.

The fight with the armored boar was literally legendary, how you lured him into the fire and then used the stairs for the plunging attack to finish him off, you're always very intuitive L3, you never cease to amaze me, most players I've seen just stick their weapons up its ass... yeah xD

man i always try to play quickly so i can watch and compare the diffrent parts that we go through in this game. so heres a few hints, that fire keepers soul u picked up in ur epic run through in the church can be used if u go down the stairs at firlink shrine. theres a lady in a cave that uses it to up ur flasks power. that and if u go right wen u get to the church theres a path that leads into a building in the forest. go in there for a bonfire and a smith. that and some areas that = pwnage

Great chase! Re: your question at the beginning: yeah, skip the routine stuff like shopping at merchants. If you have the editing time, try to include all your deaths (unless repeatedly) because they're funny in a sadistic way :) PS- I noticed some compression artifacts in this video.

I'm planning to buy this game soon, and play as a thief because of the masterkey, and because i have always like thief's/ and stealthy classes in videogames. Also i like the critical hit ratio and speed, but big problem is he can get killed very easily XD but i am looking for a good challenge, games are to easy for me.

Drake's Sword is the biggest newbie trap in the game. It's so much more powerful than anything else that people don't bother upgrading anything, so they end up stuck with an underpowered weapon in later areas. A simple Divine +0 weapon can easily match Drake Sword, and even then Divine can be further reinforced to +5 (+10 if you find a special item in Tomb of Giants)

Don't overuse the trigger attack with the drake sword. It uses 30 of the sword's overall 360 durability. Also when you were running away from the knight and you saw the long bridge and you turned and ran inside the castle instead, you're going to want to go down that bridge. Trust me.

I went 'awww' when you missed not 1 but 2 routes to a bonfire during the escape. The 2H-strong attack with the Drake Sword uses lots of durability. Watch out for that!

Hey man, that Knight with his back to you can be killed pretty easily, he's protecting something decent too!

Just lock on to him, push up slightly on your analog stick and walk towards him, when you reach him he will start to turn around, press RB and you should backstab and kill him.

L3 dont use the strong, two handed attack! it uses up 30 durability with every blow, and you cant repare a broken sword, only a damaged one
