the only problem with that is i live in south wales. I think ive got the problem solved though. im gonna take my old hornby gordon down to holts and see if they could take the bolt out of gordon and put it in the A4. if I had the tools i would do it myself :)
Try East Kent Models - they deal with spares for Hornby and would probably to able to supply a complete set of valve gear so you could just swap it over. Jewellers' style screw drivers would do the job quite well.
