  • tx fr d lovely pesto recipe....

  • Thank you for the pesto growing tips, the freezing cube tray tips and everything!!!

  • Fabulous idea! I routinely blend cayenne into my pesto because I like it to have a bright spark, so this will probably be my new fav.

  • i love to make pizza from scratch with just pesto and cheese on top then a mixed leaf salad on top at the end. it is heaven.

  • nein ich schreib sowas nichts ist ja furchtbar

  • wats the differnce between blenders and food processsors

  • Great recipe!!!! Thanks

  • Thank you for sharing, i never thought of this what a great Idea, when i first seen hummus with Jalapeno & cilantro; i was like "hmmmm thats not the norm, nor i think it will work but boy was i wrong! its my favorite" i can not wait to try this on my pasta...

  • Nice idea with the chilies, I however dislike walnuts. Do you have any suggestion for a substitute? How about cashews? Thanks, keep up the great videos....Peace

  • @dirtridermag44 I think cashews would probably yield good results. Also, if you're able to find pecans where you live, I think those would work nicely as well.

  • Thanks!

  • LOL i love you guys with a twist lol you guys are full of excitement i came home with a sad face because i didn't did good on my test but watching your videos give me a nice feeling!!!!

  • love your recipes!!!

  • This looks great! And who cares if it's "real" or "authentic"? Good food is good food!

  • thank you for your tips on growing basil! i have been thinking about doing this for awhile.

  • Nice tips!!!

    THANKS

  • You girls are fantastic!!!

  • I've read somewhere that blanching the basil leaves before processing them helps retain the pesto's green color :)

  • @angotchi thats true :)

  • i do like your channel a lot but seriously if i want to learn italian recipe i would find a good italian youtube channel - there are many out there.

btw i am indian and never follow indian recipes from a western cook as you notice they make basic mistakes like say cooking with olive oil or ...... i think it is the same as an indian cooking italian food, it may taste good (my mom makes great spagetti) but not really the real thing.

  • @rostant999 You could just not watch the video lol.

  • @rawkstarr89 well i watch their channel for indian recipes as they cook recipes from different part of india than i am from. i wont be trying this one out i like pesto with tomato puree on pasta saw a recipe by the fashion designer Valentino that is very delicious. btw they did make a similar comment about westerners cooking indian food and using olive oil - they said dont do it it is just wrong. i wonder how many italians out there are saying the same thing about their pesto recipe on bread

  • @rostant999 I understand what you are saying. I have been subscribed to them for quite some time now and it's nice to see that they are exploring recipes outside their regular Indian Cuisine. But like I said before, you simply don't have to watch the vid, let alone comment about it the way you did. lol. I mean it has jalapenos in it, that's pretty out there lol! But I won't knock it until I have tried it.

  • love pesto over tomato

  • I'm Italian and we ONLY eat pesto with pasta! Never ever never eat pesto with bread, please, don't!

  • @matteo135 Btw, I really love your channel and I think you make a wonderful job.

  • @matteo135 Who are you, the Pesto police? People can eat it with whatever they want!

  • @stvherrington Pesto police? lol that made me laugh lol

  • @matteo135 Note to self and everyone else: any comment on a cooking video that starts with "I'm Italian and..." should be completely disregarded by all who read it.

  • @matteo135 But pesto is so tasty in general, why not try serving it with other things? It's not like something bad would happen if you did. I make pesto sauce and put it in sandwiches with a little bit of fresh mozzarella, grilled eggplant, red bell peppers, and romaine on some ciabatta and it tastes fantastic.

  • @matteo135 I do agree with you guys and I'm not the pesto police. It's just that the traditional way to eat pesto is with past, period.

  • @matteo135 I'm Italian, we eat don't just eat it w/ pasta.
