@1coolz28 You should look at my other videos before calling me a liar. I can't tell if you are just ~that~ boneheaded or if that last part of your comment is a spam link. So I am deleting your message either way.
@TheMoparGearhead Not stupid! The oil supply to the turbo comes from the filtered oil pressure sensor port. I installed a tee-fitting there and the sensor and the turbo oil supply both come from this port on the filter housing.
The oil return from the turbo goes into the engine block. I drilled and tapped a hole in the skirt of the block for an oil return fitting.
@davida1hiwaaynet That is such a simple way of doing it, I love it. I am working on a turbo project myself and was thinking the same issue. Lol, I wonder why I never did, as I have done that for other setups.
@will79601 Yep! The tranny is a 4T65EHD from a factory-supercharged car. Plus it has some other modicications on it. I used the trans controller from a Chevy diesel pickup with a 4L80E transmission, with custom programming.
The engine is all stock parts except the pistons, camshaft, and head bolts.
@davida1hiwaaynet I have a 97 riviera 3800II n/a good motor except the stupid plastic upper intake manifold blew and the engine was sucking water fortuenatl there is no water in the oil also I was wondering how hard it would be to s/c the engine or even turbo how did you get the kit?
The 97 model engine can be converted to supercharged. You would need the manifold, blower, and all the parts on top of the engine that are specific to the supercherged engine. You would also need the ECM and wiring from the supercherged engine.
My turbo setup is not a kit. I fabricated all the parts needed to install a turbo on the engine, and then tuned the ECM for the setup. Unfortunately, no one makes a "turbo kit" for these engines. It's all DIY.
a century.....nice! I've watched some of your others videos, thing looks like it goes pretty good. Thats one hell of a sleeper. One of the best I've seen.
