Great fan from Australia. We live in the far north of this country. Will be travelling to Melbourne to see Alan in concert next March. One son going to Sydney and daughter going to Brisbane to see him.

What a beautiful song! It's how I felt after my son died. My heart was empty. I believed in heaven because Bobby was there. But I was so angry at God, at life. I had been sick for so long and was finally feeling better. Danny and I were going to get married. I was moving from Colorado and the mountains to the heat and humidity of Florida. Then Bobby died and I didn't want to leave. I didn't want the changes that were coming. ....My faith, family, friends and Danny got me past the worst of it.

This song came out about a week after my wife passed away. There is not one verse in that song that I did not feel. God and I argued quite often after she passed away. I even laid next to her everyday after I got off work for almost a week. This song truly helped me get through the worst time in my life. Becky my wife for life, just wasn't long enough for me. She passed away when she was only 43.
@dynamitemike65 I argued with God for months after I loss my son, Bob. I finally broke down in a Church in Branson. A good friend and I had stopped by there to pick up her daughter. As I was waiting , I walked into the chapel. It was months after Bob's death, my 1st time back in a church. I cried for a long, long time. Then a peace came over me. It didn't last long.I'm sorry for the loss of your wife. I'm married the love of my life, my best friend. I don't khow what I would do if I loss Him.
@Sarahkasch You can only agrue and stay mad at God for so long. He was the creator of all living this on earth and he created this beautiful place in heaven for all of us to live in. I lost my father back in December of year last and I was mad at God for so long because he took the one person that I loved and cared about so much away from me.

sorry for your lose. i know tht feeling. i lost my girlfriend of 2 years 3 months ago after she was hit by a drunk driver. i was working tht night and it happened right by our fire station so i responded to it and she just laid there in my arms before she passed away. she was everything tht was important to me. ppl tell me to move on but its hard to do it. again sorry for your lose man. god rest her soul.
