  • WTF??!Its like LZ DP BS not playing heavy metal))

  • I ALWAYS ADMIRED HOW FREDDIE SANG THE ENTIRE SHOWS CHANGING ALL THE ORIGINAL NOTES OF THE SONG (cause they're all so high to do live) AND HE NEVER WAS OUT OF TUNE

  • This song stands as one of the most underrated Queen songs of all time. It therefore stands as one of the best 10 best rock ballads ever written........ monumental doesn't do it justice.....

  • 7 seas of rhye from wembley should be here

  • 4 people were too late

  • QUEEN is the ----------- GREATEST!

  • Never heard this live B4,how brilliant is this?!!! Long live Queen forever!!!!

  • PLEASE WHEN THE VIDEO IS NOT A VIDEO WRITE IT!

    THANK U

  • @bludrugo29 I took notice lately that LIVE stuff is hard to find on youtube anymore!!?

  • @bludrugo29 yeah unfortunately I can't find this song on video and 7 seas of rye also :( but at least we can hear it done in the raw -LIVE I love it!!!!

  • Love that guitar riff!

  • @haladilnikas I know i used to play this live and sweated throughout it all the time :) The lead is killer too

  • To #

    SobriquetF1 ....Exactly!!!

  • This is a 'crummy' bootleg from down in the audience and Freddie (& Queen) STILL sounds better than any POS slogging their 'pop' crap over the airwaves today...

  • Killer Queen

  • its queens best but really didnt go anywhere....

  • 2:16 Freddie cracks monstrously on a A...

Great! It proves it's a hard note and it's normal if my low voice has much troubles around this note :D

    Haha thanks Freddie :D

  • @Cricriiii I wouldn't exactly call that a monstrous crack. He did worse in those last concerts in 86, particularly the Wembley one. No matter he's GOD!

  • @Cricriiii That's hardly a monstrous crack!

  • The best song along with Spread your Wings from News of the World. Such a undderated classic! Such raw emotion and powerfulness but vulurablity (sp)

  • This version (while good), doesn't do the band (mostly Freddie) justice. Listen to the version I have on my channel from Stockholm 1978! Freddie NAILS some of the higher notes in the chorus parts!

  • @Gregsynthbootlegs the quality of yours blows ass. Cant even hear anything

  • Well, it's a BOOTLEG audience recording! What did you expect? CD quality? LOL

  • It breaks my heart to see Snitsie and dadadruma argue like they do. Thomas Edison invented finger-tapping.

  • this is amazing!!! :D

  • Is this the concert where Brian laid his guitar down at the end in frustration?

  • @Spiccatoarco I've never heard of this moment?

  • the whole album is great, and you rarely find an album in which all songs are good

  • Freddie was in his prime here.

  • you should listen to Live at reading, end of 75

He hits all the notes, sings with lots of emotion.

Here he just can't sing the original melody line

Too much smoke and dope made it impossible.

Okay, you sweethearts start torpedoing me!!

  • @harrybrandy Tell me more??? I've trid looking in here but couldn't find it.

  • gizatoob I just know it from television,

    saw it december 2009,

was just too far blown away to take the time to record it. But the concert was called live at Reading.

  • The best song of news of the world?

common, all songs from this album are fantastic!!!

  • man this song is so under rated

  • @mastersam93 ronnie barnhardt appreciates this song...

  • love this song, its a true journey through emotions

  • First heard on Srius Xm Radio a few months ago..Best song on Album.Need roger taylor to hit his range live..

  • too bad he didnt do the high falsettos

  • But not too late!!!!! :):)

  • By far the best track from "News of the World".

  • Amazing song. The song really shows the vocal power of Freddie Mercury.

  • news of the world the best album.

  • Dr. May, Lord. Tayor, Sir. Deacon, and King. Mercury Thank you For All the Best music to Touch Peoples ears. Long Live The Queen!!!

  • @Alexander87oclock Although it oughta be Sir John and Faroukh the First. :)

  • Absolutely superb! They were the best ever...

  • this song should show all the eddie van halen fans that Dr Brian May is the ultimate guitar god he was two tapping way before van halen was discovered

  • I love Brian, Brian and Ritchie were my idols growing up and always will be. BUT... :-) lots of people hammered harmonics before Eddie, Eddie just took it to another level. I give Eddie credit for his style, but I prefer Brian and Ritchie, but lets not dis the guy he deserves his due. :-)

  • Other people were tapping as well before EVH.

    Ace Frehley was another example.

  • And Brian May actualy saw a guy in a bar doing it, so assuming to you the guy in that bar is the ultimate guitar god now?

  • no smart guy, do yourself a favor go out and buy queens debut and than ask me again and my answer will still be the same jerkoff

  • What's your point? I very probably know more about Queen than you anyway.

  • lol i highly doubt that seriously ive been on local rock radio shows and know brian may personally so buzz the hell off

  • You still didn't tell me what your point is.

  • forgive me snitsie i didnt read your inital comment properly actually brian is the god not the guy in the bar as all geniuses tend to learn and take to new levels

ive had a bad week and i didnt mean to take it out on your comment bad me have a great fourth weekend

  • This lacks the kinetical energy of the album version.

  • The whatnectical?

  • grandissimo freddie

  • wow, for an audience recording this sounds very good ^^ thanks for sharing, great song anyway!

  • Bravo!!!!!!!

    So raw and voracious

  • Everyone vote every 24 hours for Queen - Innuendo for best 90's album at votenumber1(dot)com!

Queen is losing to Bon Jovi!

  • wonderful.. love this song!! great as the march of the black queen, great performance. the end is magic! from 6:20 is a masterpiece :-)

  • I agree, after 6:20 the magic starts. However, the first 6:19 are not up to Queens standard, in my opinion. It's a great song, I love it on the album, but the live rendition doesn't come out right.

  • I think the bootleg is what loses it for you. The sound here is not what the audience heard, I was at a concert where they preformed this and it was unbelievable. I assume they never put it on a live album because they never got a good recording.

  • If only they woul dhave done the complete March of the Black Queen , but yes ok

  • Definitely the best "lost" Queen track. If it wasn't for the length I'm sure this would have been a great single

  • It was released as a single but charted only in the US and only at #74.

  • I live in the US and I have no idea why this AMAZING song was not #1!!!

  • Because the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack was the big thing at the time this album was popular. Alot different than disco lol!

  • bravo freddie t le meilleur bien ce live et cette version de it's late!

  • UNBELEIVABLE. ROCKS!

  • GRACIAS!!!

  • I agree this is the best song off of News of the World Album/8 track/CD My age is showing.. One of the Chicago FM stations(WLUP/WDAI/WCFL?? aired this song that's how I found about it! I ran out and bought the album next day. ..Chicago Rules!!

  • It must have been wlup(The Loop). After I saw this show it kinda ruined all live shows. Thanks for posting this. What a treat.

    Thanks again.

  • I was 11 years old at this show at the Chicago Stadium. I just found the pictures of this show. Do you have this whole show on tape false start and all? Remember?

  • temazoooooooo!!!!

    Q U EE N R O C K SSS

  • wow....i've been waiting for someone to post this...i knew they played it... but i've never heard it live till now.

  • This is soooo great, he is so god damn raw here

  • New Of The World was such a great fucking album!

  • APROVADO

  • APROVADO

  • Why this song isnt in live killers?

  • Good question!

  • Most probably because it significantly differs from the originally recorded version.

    Freddy's vocals...

  • Thankyou for this :)

  • I like this piece ,but my favorite song from this album is "Spread your wings"...

  • Queen is my favorite band no 1! But I can´t agree that "It´s late" is the best song on "news on the world". In fact I think it´s one the songs from Queen that I don´t like so much.

  • Wow! I can't say agree, but we're entitled to our opinions. This is my favourite Queen song, hands down

  • It's a shame there aren't more live performances of it out there to it...it's so awesome.

  • hell yea!!
