  • hay bud whats guitar u got ??? need a good guitar want one from the master !! :)

  • good song and is the cords the same on the other verses

  • marty you are awesome, so is oasis

  • im ok with the chords, its the strumming timing that i want you to teach, i know all the chords & can play them in time but i dont know the strumming rhythm, down down ..... down down up down, or down up down down up down, beginners need to learn strumming aswell, not just down x5.

  • <3 U marty :D

  • this guys a dickhead to be honest. if he wasnt such a twat i would find it easy to learn the songs with him.

  • @JosephD3180 dont call him dickhead becouse you are an idiot and you cant remember simple chords

  • @Phishization no man, i seriously can play this, took me a good day to learn it by heart minus any solo. just dont like this guy, the way he goes on annoys me, if it was someone else doing the lessons i wouldnt mind. didnt realise his boyfriend was looking through the comments section however making sure no one says anything bad about him, you can tell him i apologised.

  • I HATE BARRE CHORDS! :(

  • @PepperDr94 try them, try them again and try them again, once you get the hang of them they're easy and often better than open chords. I suggest you find a song that only has barre chords in it (no open) so you can keep the barre down the whole time, it helped me get used to them, then you just have to get used to switching between the barre to open and back, just practice it a lot and in three weeks or so you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

  • @Peelioka :D

  • Many Thanks from Thai Student

    ขอบคุณมากครับ

  • Dude, what the hell are you doing telling people the chords in the verses are like C over B, and E7 and shit?!? Those aren't the right chords, man. >.<

    C, G, Am, E, F, G, C... Am, G *Repeat*

  • @Guerrillablackdog i thought the same...maybe this is a 'beginner' version lol

  • @Guerrillablackdog no he's right

  • @Guerrillablackdog they are right, listen to it.

  • why is marty's verse 1 different to everyones elses?

  • just started playing guitar , very helpful for beginners ,,keep up the good work

  • Has anyone else realised this guy sounds exactly like Ryan from The Office?

  • Been playin' guitar for many years but have found that You Tube has made life so much easier to learn songs. Even though this guy simplifies the songs allot he is instructing, it is helpful. For years I would listen to songs over and over to pick them out and sometimes using tabs to help (when the internet came along...and yes, the internet has not "always" been here). Gotta admit, Marty is a good teacher.. Thanks Marty for getting people out there and playin.

  • ขอบคุณมากครับ

  • i love love love this song!!!!

  • just a quick tip marty, put like the tab in the description so that when we get the hang of it we can just look at that and play through rather than having to work out what goes where :):)

  • cool tune

  • Waou super son !! chapeau pour cette reprise ;)

  • "beatlish sounding" because liam ripped off the opening of imagine

  • @neytah

Liam didn't write the song...Noel did...

  • @neytah I think you mean Noel and he did it on purpose, the only bit that sounds alike lasts about 5seconds and the song completely changes and doesn't go back to it once it starts properly

  • show us the trick you did at the beginning

  • Is he muting the high E when hes playing the F

  • @wallykav1516 I think

  • @wallykav1516 i think he isn't, seems like it... but i looked it up online and it sais you should. so, i think you should, it sounds a bit off to me, but it could just be my playing ;)

  • the intro is like imagine

  • @utPr3d4ToR It's meant to be

  • I learnt this song with little diferent chords. But I guess I'll try this one cause it sounds very good!

  • how do you do the trick at the start in the intro?

  • your a good teacher but in most of your vids you show the extreme easey way like in the intro you never put in the pull off, Long story short teach how to play fade to black by Metallica (The Beethoven of Death Metal)

  • have to remind me to like

  • before i watch your video , i was almost playin it like that but you made things clear for me , you're awesome :)

  • favorite lesson out of all of ur lessons haha lmao

  • Would love a teacher like you. Many tutorials dont teach the strumming rhythm. Top Class :D

  • Cara tu é foda

  • Dude, you really know how to teach.

    Great Job

  • Great you are a great teacher but in a lot of your vids you dont go into the strumming that much

  • This is now my first ever song on guitar, not only has it given me great joy it has taught me lots of new chords and also how to change to my first bar chord! yay me and my achievement :D

  • I actually love u for posting this :D :D <3 xx

  • Chorus at 06:55 - note to self for tomorrow.

  • This is NOT super easy.

couldnt play that shit, the only songs i know to play on gutiar is Smells Like and Wonderwall

  • @Teimaninja then guitar evidently isn't for you. if guitar runs thorught your blood, then you would be able to pick it up on a cover of this. i've played guitar since i was seven and the first song i learnt was wonderwall after one month, and i'm now twelve, i've got a band we've won several 'battle of the bands' competitions and i can nearly play the solo to free bird on an acoustic which is no easy feat trust me, so if you can't play this then clearly guitar isn't for you because

  • @Teimaninja anyone can play wonderwall because it only has e minor, G, d chord, then a sus 2 and the chorus goes, c add 9, e minor, G, e minor, c add nine and then c add 9 d chord, a sus 2 and i was 9 when i got it 100% so if you can't play that them i'm sorry for you ;)

  • @thebassmonster0100 Im sorry for myself too :)

  • @thebassmonster0100 but you know, consedering that i started to play guitar a week ago...

I've learned to play Wonderwall,Wish You Were Here,Smells like Teens Spirit and some... but i dont know to read tabs... so yea nobody born with a pick and guitar in thier hands.

  • @Teimaninja but still, you are how old? and power chords are easy as anything and thats pretty much all of teen spirt plus the bass line and the solo and two picking parts, which can be picked up in under 30 minutes. a good technique is to break a song down into the parts you can and can't play and then focus on the bits you can't untill you can play them and then play them together. another one is to get a chord sheet and try playing thoses and make up a simple tune. hope it helped :)

  • @thebassmonster0100 back then Guitar didnt really intrest me.

  • @Teimaninja but still, the younger the mind the easier it is to learn, because the mind is still developing so you can make playing guitar a general knowledge thing. anyway, it was your decision but i didn't have an intrest untill 4 weeks ago when i learned hey there dallilah and then i realized i could pick things up really easily and plus, get yourself a guitar worth atleast £100 or more. i have an aria electro acoustic and thats why i'm play much more. and get good strings for finger picking.

  • @thebassmonster0100 i qot a YAMAHA Classic guitar that i bought in 200$

  • @Teimaninja string type? i think elixir is the make, they are the best but anyway, i use 1.2 mm picks too for this so you don't get an annoying scraping sound that easily.but any anway, the aria is 10 years old and should be worth £700 brand new, and i should have gotten it for £400 but still yamhas are a good beginner make, but thats my opinion

  • @Teimaninja ty for the adivces too

  • @thebassmonster0100 I'm 21 Years old, i've served 3 years in the IDF... didnt really had time for anything, just to make things clear, i'm playing for fun... not to be Jimi Hendrix or in a rock band...

  • makes me feel bad when title says SUPER EASY :) and I think its hard :P

  • into the chorus 'cha chakkk! hahah! clear tutorial!!!

  • 0:34 John Lennon?

  • hey, maybe you can teach the electric guitar version of this or the guitar solo part of this song.. thanks a lot Marty.

  • @rBiBooooooMx SUPER easy!

  • @geetarman69 i know ive learned it a while back :)

  • nice lesson thansk but wheres the capo or different tuning? WHEN i try to play this over the song it doesnt fit in

  • Marty...you're my only teacher. I worship you!

  • thanks

  • F MINOR IS IMPOSSIBLE

  • @saileddragonfly nothings impossible dude. how long you been playing?

  • @myplague6669 Ive been playing about 7 months but only get time for a hour day just say. I can do F barre chord but the f minor just does not come through at all.

  • Great Lesson! Can you explain or give us the tab your little trick at 0:35? Thanks

  • @ajaxamsterdam514 It sounds like he's playing the riff to Imagine right there, it also has a C to F progression in the intro.

  • @TheKirbsys Hey that's not really what I asked, I just would like to know how he plays the embellishment at 0:35, thanks though!

  • Hey Marty^^ I just wanna say that your way of teaching is fantastic :) You starts out with showing the song and then make a joke ^^ You're very kind and friendly, don't stop teaching, you're amazing!

    Peace to you my friend!

  • you are fantastic ! thank you so much !!!

  • thankyou really helpful

  • 17 people looked back in anger
