A "Nerdfighter" is really just an avid fan of the "vlogbrothers", a channel where, last year, two brothers talked to each other back and forth through vlogs every weekday as their primary form of communication. They coined the term, and it's pretty much a fan club, but people will talk about how it's a moral code or a state of mind. Check out their channel, they're pretty funny, and I hope you like it here.

1. Not actually a nerd. I looked up the definition, and it involves apreciating ones intelegences in the areas where I have none.

Hi Alan, I'm not into Harry Potter, so I'm not sure I understand what you were trying to get across in your cute little skit. Also, I don't know what a nerdfighter is. To me, it made me think of someone who fights "nerds", which, I think is wrong to label poeple. Kidn of dumb thought, huh? But, I'm not sure that this what it really means. Maybe you or someone could let me know. I'm new at Youtube, and don't know about what the young people are into now. I'm only on it for my summer class.

Nerdfighters would be better interpreted as nerds who fight, as opposed to those who fight nerds. Although, I don't think it has very much to do with nerds physically fighting anything either. I'm not sure as to the exact definition of "Nerdfighter" --the definition I heard: "Made of awesome"

First off, hey there, congrats for the class and the awesome teacher.
A "Nerdfighter" is really just an avid fan of the "vlogbrothers", a channel where, last year, two brothers talked to each other back and forth through vlogs every weekday as their primary form of communication. They coined the term, and it's pretty much a fan club, but people will talk about how it's a moral code or a state of mind. Check out their channel, they're pretty funny, and I hope you like it here.

OMG! You did a parody of Maggie's video! <3 Hm... Though I did a fangirl squee at the beginning, I'm not sure I liked it. Nerdfighting, is indeed for nerds, however the amazing thing I've found in this community is the lack of haters and suck. This is kinda hater-ish.

Wasn't it you Alan that stopped Charlie and Alex from doing these "entertaining" videos... said that you were supposed to be getting to know each other.. and then all of a sudden someone suggested that you cut off the audience but then you do special projects with this class!!! wtf = ( how come we can't participate!!! (i like entertaining vids, and this reminded me of one of those mickey mouse/Goofy cartoons>>instructional videos ftw!!
