cool, i got the exact same ipod for my birthday as well, but what is that black pen looking pen? I didn't get one and how do you start it up? The only thing coming up on the screen is pic of the usb cord and the itunes

- i didnt get a pen

- You have to connect it up to your computer and open itunes then update the ipod, once that is done then you will be able to use your new ipod

accualy there is a jail break, Ive done it and it works perfect, but if you turn of your ipod you have to redo a couple of things.

Its called ipod touch jailbreak 2g red snow tethered lite.

Yeah, I've also jailbroken my iPod Touch. Although it is kinda annoying to connect your ipod to your computer whenever you want to restart it. Regardless i still really like the ipod jailbroken since there is so much you can do. =)
