Spellcasters with 3000hp, 1500dps was insane, only a few fury warriors could achieve it. You didn't get end-level gear just by doing some HCs, which shouldnt be called HCs, more like Easy's. Any kid can do it.

This trailer is kinda ridiculous. In truth any of the players couldn't care less about this new "outdoor pvp" system. Yay capture some frigging towers to get 5% boost in damage against undead in East. Plaguelands... Blizz should have made special reward system for raiding specific towns (And ofcourse rewards for opposing factions to defend that town). Now there's idea for Cataclysm: Daily town raids/defends.

@currynator Well, I'm not sure you're right. I mean, back then, the eastern plagueland was the goal, as well as Silithus mind you. It was where the strongest went due to Stratholme, but also, if I recall, getting the towers for your faction when you had the quest given by the silverdawn NPC granted you token as reward, tokens with which you could by the best equipment of the time. That was their rewards. So yea, I think it was an interesting idea they had.

@currynator You know, there were some sense into PVP there, with Naxxramas (the classic one) there, there were a lot of players crossing the Eastern Plaguelands, so yeah, there certainly were lots of fights going on, plus, a 5% boost against undead, in these time, were quite needed... i think wow is ok. it has changed a lot. from beta to now. it has changed so much. its sad most people dont remember the old days when there were only 2 raids. onyxia and molten core. and even before that. now there is a lot to do especially on a new character grinding all reputations and getting gear from heroics.its fun that some pre tbc raids can be soloed.the game will change especialy with cataclysm. but everything that has a begining has an end. and wow's end will come i think in~10 years

Well, dunno about your servers. But these towers (wich the trailer is really about, not epl) were a huge fail. Even on the first day after getting added the "other" stuff was much cooler and more interesting. I don't think I ever saw any real "combat" in these areas. Just small groups of 1-5 players trying to get that "new cool quest" done and then leave forever.

5% dmg in some duengons wasn't really worth fighting for.

The Horde was never really evil, just the Burning Legion which controlled them at one point. But Orgrim Doomhammer killed the old Warchief, who was corrupted, and became Warchief. He then only fought the Alliance so the Orcs could have a new, peaceful home. Eventually, the Horde made peace with the Alliance, until Proudmoore arrived, and attacked. None of the 2 sides are evil, its just that one invaded for a new home, the other fought back because of hatred.
