I just did this with a regular square scarf and it came out as a shoulder bag, not a body bag. It's super cute and I'm definitively going tomorrow to the fabric store to buy some pretty patterns =]

I tried it and I fgiured ot that it depends how long u want it

I suggest u measure from your shoulder to in between your hip and knee

then leave a little more space for the knot
