  • I'm only going to respond to your first "point".

"The heavens and the Earth were joined together and then we clove them asunder."

The sky was thought to be something like an inverted bowl. Being joined together meant that the sky touched, and was joined to, the ground. Cleaving them apart separated the sky from the Earth and created the space between the sky and the Earth in which we live.

Causing a separation like that (or land from water, etc) is a common element in creation myths.

  • THE argument adopted by the poster of this vid is made of UTTER FAIL. 2/10 Must try harder.

  • also i would argu that othere faithes older ones also made clames ,in greek mytos the sky god and earth goddess wer one till cut apart dose this mean islam took an aspeckt from an older ..and to a classical greek more "true" religion witch Islam accepts and then been "proven" by modern science then the calssical Greeks religion must be the true tahy seid these things long befor islam and millina befor modern science even began.

  • Hi, I found your response interesting. However you failed to see the point which TheLivingDinosaur was trying to make. If these verses are so clear cut, why didn't muslims (and possibly everyone else) not *already* believe these things *before* science proved them? And for the record, the verses are ambiguous and you are interpreting from the bias of your religion. They can be interpreted in other ways, you simply reject these because they are in conflict with modern science.

  • And an even more appropriate word would be exactly what clouds on earth are made of. water vapor. In space it is vapors of many things, very little smoke. At 4:16 The words "at the time" are used" for forgiveness to lack of more knowledge. Is god not eternal? These men had the ability to write anything, understood or not. It was not written correctly. A big strike against god.

Many others have made predictions that have come to pass, with about the same or better record as any holy book.

  • You cry foul because LD hurt your feelings, then to prove him wrong you indulge in a further list of wild interpretations from the Qu'ran.

You are just like the old biblical archaeologists who used to search for "evidence" with trowel in one hand and a bible in the other. If you start, as you do, from a fixed intial view, then inevitably, you will find what you are looking for. That why scientific discoveries are independantly peer reviewed, to take out the bias.

Just what LD has done to you.

  • The religion of Islam or any other religion has nothing to do with the scientific method or science. To claim otherwise is absurd and you would be laughed out of any rational scientific discussion or peer review if you did. However, if your claims had any merit, then we would see the middle east doing amazing things with all of the scientific wonders found within its story book. But oh wait, it isn't. Best go back to killing, imprisoning, and silencing all unbelievers.

  • Maybe you make some good points, but I'll never know because I can't read....

  • pedo bear fail

  • You tried to respond with specific "points", if they even can be called that, to an argument based on broad strokes. His main argument is that all religions, and any other work of fiction, have passages that predate science and can be interpreted as describing various actual phenomena that science has already described. To actually answer his point, you need to show passages that have been or can be used to GENERATE scientific discoveries. So far, that hasn't happened. Can you be the first?

  • Keep up the good work brother. Never mind the deaf, blind and mute. There is no refuge for people without a soul. They roam this world blindly ignoring all the signs when it is made clear for them. One day we shall all answer for our transgressions.

  • People who know facts, since they can actually back up their claims, are quite arrogant and they like to insult people who think make-believe stories have the same value.

  • (insert religion), since they do believe in a god, are very arrogant and they like to insult people who dont agree with there..... um i mean their views.

  • pwned.

  • I'm a muslim and I'm ashamed of your response. You really didn't get what he was trying to say.

  • The Living Dinosaur owned you and you're just making it worse with this BS.

    Extreme failure is yours.

  • Really good response akhi :-)

  • @Shaval93

Thank you sister.....I could have done this earlier but I wasn't getting time. Now I have finally made the video and upload it...Alhamdulillah. I have lots of stuff left pending to care of on YouTube...including your messages.....InshAllah....ill slowly reply to everyone.

  • @XxXxhussamxXxX

    Thats no problem:-)

    Don´t stress yourself...

  • @Shaval93

actually I have many messages from non-Muslims....most of them are debates from Atheists and Christians...and i will have to reply to them....so they can learn more about Islam....and InshAllah.....if Allah wills they can be guided.

  • @XxXxhussamxXxX

Yes, you are right... Allah says in Qur´an that he is the only one who can guide...We as Muslims just do our jobs, share our knowledge with non-believers and the rest comes from alone or not...So don´t be frustrated if they don´t believe...May Allah rewards you for your effort:-)

  • @Shaval93

Yes i know that.....anyways thank you for your advice..may Allah reward you.

  • @XxXxhussamxXxX

I just wanted to remember you and in the same time ME, too :-)

I was sure that you have known it before...:-D

  • @Shaval93
