  • If you think about it, this all could have been avoided if someone would've just said "Step to the left!"

  • '' i can see your dirty pillows''

  • Also, it REALLY doesn't help to have a mother who isn't *ahem* "mentally well"

  • Now that is definitely one person who has earned her spot on this list.

  • tem is carry in the updated new version i saw

and she was relatable and the rest of the cast in this version just all seemed like pricks and thiers really no possible pitty you can feel for anyone but carry

who thuess in the end kills herself

  • They're all going to laugh at you!

And WTF John Travolta was Billy in this movie O_o

  • :O carrie? lucy?(elfen lied)

  • what the fuc is this can som1 explain this story to me

  • she is one of the best women out there and I would've loved to have her powers when I was in high school. I was like her I was picked on by my fellow classmates but I didn't have the same problems with my mother as she did

  • carrie is a prime example of what can happen when you push a quiet, mousy girl too far....you will suffer the wrath of her telekinetic madness....

  • I wish I had Carrie's powers in high school. I'd make them all pay. Muaa!

  • This movie always reminded me why Ioathed highschool... And teenagers in general.

  • She would have never been a hard core Killer if that pran didnt happen

  • carries is the baddest girls in school

  • 1:41 this scene was the reason that jason scene at the ending of friday the thirteenth part 1 happened

  • Carrie has got to be in next year's Cinemassacre's Monster Madness

  • Carrie White: The Angel of Revenge

  • the power of christ comples you

  • is carrie post to be bloody mary

  • @beblicious4you no. see carrie was sympathetic even when she did horrible things.

  • They're all gonna laugh at you

  • I never even knew they did a remake.

  • @ipiponce it's about this girl who gets teased by everyone and her mother is a freaky religious loony lady. Soon Carrie finds out that she has the power to move things with her mind so she gets revenge on the people who picked on her

  • A favorite of mine... Carrie's a killer who remains sympathetic even when she does horrible things. You still see her as the victim...filmmakers probably would not take that approach with a story about a male killer.

  • @moonlily1 well frankenstein was a male killer tat wasnt that bad, nut uu gotta a point.

  • @yonkerzgirl Yes, that's the only one I can think of, but it kinda doesn't count because Frankenstein isn't exactly human; the Candyman was slightly sympathetic, but he wasn't getting revenge on anyone who had harmed him. On the flipside, the only female horror movie killer I can think of who is just plain evil, not crazy or pushed to the edge, is Baby from 'House of a Thousand Corpses' and 'The Devil's Rejects', but I don't like those movies.

  • @moonlily1 What about "Amanda Young" from SAW?

  • @DawnKittyLucindaElly I've only seen the first 'Saw', and I don't remember Amanda Young.

  • @moonlily1 Amen to that. Even when she's drenched in blood and looking like a figure of undiluted malice with a raging inferno of her own making behind her, I still want to just pick her up and hold her. Even that opening scene with Carrie getting cornered and pelted with tampons in the shower room will bring tears to a grown man's eyes.

She may not be fully justified in unleashing the slaughter she did, but we can certainly understand why she did it.

  • @BloodyBay One likes to think that she lost control and was in kind of a fugue and after a point couldn't stop if she wanted to. it's open to interpretation. But I'm sure everyone has been in some situation where if you'd emotionally-triggered telekenesis then some bitches would be dead!

  • @moonlily1 Yeah, I sure as hell had those moments back in MY high school days. Of course, nowadays kids in that sort of situation just bring a few firearms to school. Some bullied kids with psychokinetic powers would make the 5 o'clock news a LOT more interesting, come to think of it....

  • @BloodyBay only in steven kings worl my firend

  • @moonlily1 dude you kind of wrong the bad ass thing about carrie is that she is not a killer she result of people action she is more inocent than anything and scaries part is that you must pay for your actions

  • whats this movie about?

  • Its ashame though dat it does happen in real life. Kids of all ages dat were pickd on and did not have da strength 2 just brush it of did snap n killed demselves takin wit dem other students whether its payback, revenge, or 2 make it all stop. Since they don't have telekinesis they resort to guns and/or knives. 15 yrs. ago I lost a friend who got killed because another student always got picked on and could not take it any more brought a gun and had a shooting spree taking my friend with him.

  • I can't even explain the effect the 1976 version of this movie had on me emotionally. I mean, I SOBBED for the longest time. It's just so disturbing and sad and I can't believe she died. D:

@nothinginsane She already had the powers, but she could control them. But at prom some kids dumped a bucket of blood on her and literally everyone, even the teachers, laughed at her and she kind of went a little pyscho and killed like everyone.

  • wasnt carrie humiliated and pushed around to the point where she got some inane powers and started fuckin people up?

  • John Travolta had a small role in that movie before Saturday Night Fever.

  • Carrie is also the most annoying Horror Icon.

  • "They're all gonna laugh at you!" love this movie! this is why you don't pick on people cause you don't know when they will fucking snap..........hehehe

  • Carrie White Never dies she just get's even

  • Her weapon: The stare

  • carry is a great movie that chick goes nuts in the end

  • Carrie...I wish I have a girlfriend like that...well almost, except she's just a normal sweet nerdy girl. (and I'm her nerdy ex ^^;)

  • OMG! She looks like Michael Jackson!

  • @Drunkendunker only less scary right?

  • Glad this didn't happen at my prom.

  • lol I can't watch this without thinking about the movie superstar lol XD

  • i liked the original and the remake

  • Carrie White really scared me there when I saw her hand in the Ending.....So spooky. Sissy Spacek did a great job portaying as Carrie White.

  • the end was obvious and i didn even c his movie although it was recommended to me somthing always came up everytime i tried to watch it

  • AWESOME!!! Carrie is an original!! :D

  • awesome movie 5/5

  • Carrie, yes. Excellent pick, excellent movie. Well, the 1976 version. Not the 2002 version.

  • I liked both versions.
