being a PETA activist I like animals and while talking about me dancing I used a peacock for a metaphor..I wasn't referring anyone else..and for a person of my mother's age..where did the decadent BS come here??..and for people singing I use a cuckoo as a metaphor..and btw singer Chitra is also my mother's age.

when I was little, wild peacocks would walk around my house, and I would see this everyday.... i thought it was so beautiful how they waked, the sound they made, and their displays blew my mind. I think they are such beautiful, amazing birds. They are a beautiful creation of mother nature.

But my REAL interest is the camera! Your tags say it was a Sanyo Xacti HD2000 - I'm thinking of purchasing one. I have downloaded & read the manual, and seen several mostly positive reviews online - but I'm interested in your thoughts - what's it like to hold and use such an unusually shaped camera? How is the battery life with typical use? Is the digital zoom ok? Anything annoying or disappointing about it?

@skevosmavros Hi, Thanks for your comment. I would say in general I am very happy with the camera. The main positives for me are the video quality and the 16x optical zoom which is high for a HD camera. The slow motion facility is good fun but you lose quite a lot of video quality with it plus it is not HD.The build quality is excellent. The digital zoom is a waste of time but this is the case with all cameras. I like the shape of the camera. It sits well in your hand.
