The video starts with the wheel spinning. Such a large diameter wheel has a fair amount of momentum (see other comments that it will spin by itself for 10-15 minutes). Short video too.

So based on all that and the laws of physics I say like other magnetic motors it will stop after a while and the magnets around the outside actually add nothing to the whole device.

I believe you want to compare the case of pure rotation. If you remove all magnets and spin the wheel hard by hand, the wheel can rotate for about 10 minutes (maximum about 15 minutes).

With the existing setting, without the strong initial spin by hand, the wheel can rotate up to 30 minutes. Improvements are being made.
