It's so reliable. For the past two years i had one failure and it was the fuel injection pump. Audi assured me the reason for this was because it wasn't put in right in the first place, and that it wouldn't happen again. As a way of apologizing Audi insisted they payed for me to have a track day where i got to drive the R8 around a race track for 3 hours it was great fun! With Audi you're not just getting a great car but a great service. They really look after you.

i have the A8 w12 and i got the timer that's directly linked to the engine you can set it to automatically disengange at 60, 100 and 150 it took 4.2 seconds for me to get to 60 it really is a great machine

Yes, I LOVE Audis. They're "less expensive BMW's". High ride quality, great handling, upscale interior, everything. BMW's are good cars, but Audis are true kings.

Yeah,I think Audi has very nice fittings and it is a great value for money. Mercedes S-Class is definitely a more silent car. More of a car you buy to enjoy cruising. Audi is more of a driver's car and its definitely more dynamic than a Mercedes. Well both of them are good in their own ways !

i just think that the audi might be a slightly better value.. the audi a8 w12 competes with the mercedes s63 and s600.. all three are very impressive cars, but the a8 w12 is the least expensive of the three and unquestionably the most luxurious (that is - it has the highest amount of standard features)

of course, the s63 and s600 are more powerful and quicker

the audi a8 w12 and two mercedes cars accomplish two different goals - one is flat-out luxury, the other is performance

oh no. actually the audi rs4 and mb c63 amg have the same acceleration time to 60mph - 4.3 seconds

the m3 takes 4.5

the is-f takes 4.6

but the times are all relative... you accelerate in a "4.6 car" then in a "4.3 car"; you'll realize the difference but they're both really impressive times... it's not like 4.6 is a 90% A- while 93% is a 100% A+.. it's more like (for a compact sports sedan) 4.6 is a 95% A while 4.3 is a 100%

Anyway back to the topic on RS4 and C63, they should wait for the new B8 RS4 to compare it with the C 63. Or the C 73 by that time.

Yea the RS6 really seems boss right now.. Can't wait until it comes out. Only problem is that it's SO impressive (with the V10/V12 and the nearly 600hp and the $139,000) that it won't REALLY compete with the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63... But who gives a shit? Why weaken yourself to make yourself compete with others when you can just be strong and kick their ass anyday?

are you selling audis?;) Thanks to my job I've driven all the cars you've mentioned, and I'd go for the A8 as well, though I prefer the 4.2 TDI since it's an awesome engine as well but you don't have to stop every 3 hours for gas.

However, nothing beats the S-Class in terms of comfort, noise at higher speeds and navigation system..

Yea, you're absolutely right. The Audi A8 W12 is more for the S63 and/or the S600. But it dominates both. You save $15,000+ with the Audi A8, and you get a standard rearview camera, DVD player, massaging front seats, keyless access and starting, door-closing assist, and more. It's like a mini Bentley. It's one hell of car, and you'd be stupid to buy an S600 over an Audi A8 W12.
