@ch72105 This isn't an old song in any respect, but the genre, the way its sung, the type of music with it is of an older generation, that modern people just don't appreciate. Good lyrics and a great tune just don't cut it for modern music, modern music has to contain at least 50% computer generated bad sound affects :P Great song, one of my favorites along with "Border Reiver".

This isn't timeless at all. Actually, its very dated. The song is about Ray Kroc and how McDonald's came up in the world by undercutting family restaurants. Its actually about a very specific time. So I'm quite unsure how timeless fits this song.

Like look at Andrew Carnegie's businesses or Rockefeller's Oil monopoly where they ousted individual businesses by underpricing them through machine-like efficiency. (Yes I know that McDicks was started in 1955 while these were at the dawn of the 20th century but I feel that the message still applies)
