IMO death magnetic is very good and deserves credit, buit i really love KILL EM ALL cuz it will go down in history of one of the greatest thrash metal albums

I have every album from both bands, the difference between you and me is I'm not biased towards one or the other. The reason I said my original comment in the first place is b/c people say he never plays decent solos anymore, but if what I just heard comes out in more songs then they will have a kick ass album. That is fact, and Kirk definitely does not suck. Bad players don't play the kind of stuff he does. You haters need to get over yourselves

The only way to judge who is a better guitarist is technicality since how good the music they produce, is all subjective.

As far as technical ability in terms of lead playing, it is Kirk who is superior. I saw a video of Dave doing a Q&A where he played a part of his Hangar 18 solo (One of them anyways) and he could barely play it... I never seen Kirk f up like Dave did there.

Obviously, it goes without saying Daves rythms are much more technical than Kirks.
