The quality is more than excusable, this is a great vid! Heck, some digital cameras take videos that arn't half this good.
What kind of horn is it at 1:12, it kind of sounds like something Amtrak used to use, but a little diffrent.

It sounds like an older cast Nathan P5, Amtrak used a newer cast P5A. So yes, you're right.
