  • Why aren't you retrofitting projectors? >.<

  • those are illegal and blind people on the road at night

  • the relay is needed for the high low bulbs only h4 bulbs

  • dude most cars dont even need a relay, i say the relay is just a waste of money, unless your ballasts are really crappy and then thats when you need a relay for the H.I.D.'s

  • @AccentTuner2000 Relay is to protect your vehicle's wiring harness, nothing to do with ballasts.

  • its not a torque wrench lol :d

  • Your an idiot. High pressure electrical wires?? I was never aware that there was pressure in a electrical system. To bad you cant afford real HIDs so you have to use this ebay china junk.

  • @alaindesforges I say upgrade becuase he has a 0 gauge hot wire for an amp, that battery he's using will not hold a charge soon by the draw. I should have mentioned that :)

  • how is this the first video that came up?

  • Stupid ass. Its called a fuckin ratchet. "German torque wrench" Hahaha.

  • @ieddiec93 I thinks it's a play on words... Gut-en-tight... it sounds German?

  • I have my battery in the trunk? how can i do this ?

  • @crippa1983 You will need to get wire extenders.

  • so if i wanted to i could change back to my normal headlights right because i didnt cut anything?

  • you should upgrade the battery, duralast gold or aptima yellow

  • @Jx1x3 No need to upgrade the battery. HID's actually draw about 25% less power than regular lights.

  • Deals?

  • Teen wolf

  • Nothing but fuckin glare haha smh fail

  • use you good ol' german torque wrench " goodntight" ROFL

  • Can u make a video of what will happen if ur hands are wet and u have a metal tool in ur hand and let it touch the negative and positive battery.

Tnx. I wanna see what will happen to u so we you-tubers can learn a lesson from u.

  • i got a ? what do the conversion kit do?? like i wanna know can i just buy the lights with out da conversion???

  • great video

  • Most likely your blinding other drivers. The halogen reflector bowls aren't meant for HIDs. You should do it right and get projectors. You get better light output and unlike the bowls, the beam is aimed and not dispersed in every direction.

  • at 2:40 the relay harness where do you put that. does it have to be touching metal like on the relay harness? yes im kinda a noob at this

  • The black wire you connected to the battery is not supposed to be there. It is a ground wire meant to be bolted into the chassis. Sure it'll work either way but you run the risk of damaging the ballast and possibly the battery.

  • @antot86 ground is going to be ground regardless epic fail

  • DDM are great HID KITS

  • my ballast are 55 watt and the relay i got says 12v/35 watt can i still use that?

  • @mmim4 yes, but it will only give 35W i assume.

  • Pero las tienes k anivelar porke sino una va a estar abajo y otra alumbra para arriba ósea fidparejas

  • HID light and LED

It's all about the new technology in light for cars, any car any model for the great Boston we have everything about HID(High Intensity Discharge) lights and LED(Light Emitting Diode). our price start $70,00 with warranty.

  • Then use the German torque wrench... Gohd-n-tiet

  • Machinegunfunk Ohh I see u want the superslim hid kits if I'm not wrong.... I had this on my passat 06 damn every turn I'd made every single night it's a light show 1000k hid deep blue

  • HID = High intensity discharge but for those in '95 explorers and "95 civics HID = Horrible Ignorant Driver

  • ultrahid.com

  • jesus... loook at the size of the ballast

  • do you know any good hid kit brands cause i have xentec and i would really like to upgrade to a better brand. thanks.

  • @raulred93 i've been told DDM is great, similar low prices to xentec but they actually last. I just bought mine and haven't had a problem yet. just look up some reviews

  • you seriously cant take a redneck seriously when it comes to these types of things

  • check out ultrahid.com

  • qualityHID but not quality installation video...::facepalm::

  • You should honestly delete this video or put a disclaimer about how not having and HID Lens housing will cause your light patter to scatter everywhere....blinding other drivers ....and just looking for a cop to pull you over and either give you a nice ticket ...or tow your car....I have nothing against HID as long as they are installed correctly

  • I'll be the one with the bat! For motorcycles, they make perfect sense. They need every bit of light to be visible and stay alive. For cars, this type of lighting is completely unnecessary for regular driving. There is not one single shred of proof that they save lives. I drive at night a lot and get blinded a lot by kids with these lights who have more money than brains. If you're trying to impress girls or your other friends, how about taking that money and getting a degree.

  • @sekboi . That is a horrendous statement. If you have a degree it makes no difference in this economic climate. I know guys with PhD's and still have trouble finding good jobs

  • @alantsang2002 Actually It's a horrendous concept and you missed the point. I realize though it's tough for some younger males to leave their childhood behind and become adults. If these kids can afford HID's and amps and subs, then obviously THEY HAVE JOBS. The money would be better invested in an education. Generally, ADULTS would care about frying the retinas of an oncoming driver with HID headlights which is what this discussion is about.

  • very idiot proof!!! lol

  • look at that little engine...hmmm sure professional install...all the dangling wires

  • good video,but bad ballast,can get good

  • hÍhi_ÀÑY_gÚÿs_wÁÑt_tõ_chÅt_wÍth_më

  • @CGDoig why do you say that. lol

  • Good n tight... LMAO

  • did u tape the box to your car?

  • Gud'en tight. i love it.

  • "Remove the old lightbulb... CAREFULLY"... * seconds later.... THUMP LOL

  • old type of xenon kit

  • um if i remember right car batteries dont shock u unless the key is on and you have a metal tool in your hand touching the possitive or something to that extent

  • @44boman this is incorrect. a 12 volt car battery doesn't carry enough current to hurt you. About the key being on - you can see both positive and negative terminals are exposed on the battery, allowing you to touch both at the same time. You have to ask, "what does turning the key do here?" Nothing. turning the key will energize the car's wiring system, not you. You CAN cause large sparks, burn, or fires by shorting the battery with a metal tool. anything else?

  • @dinosquirrel um no im not incorrect...my 1968 c10 batterie wont shock or do anything with out the key on, just the headlights and brake lights...ive tried it, i put a metal tool on both posts and turned on headlights and nothing happened tried with out metal tool and still nothing so im not incorrect

  • so i was told by couple of professionals(they dont know each other, different company) that i shouldnt need a relay wire harness for my hid kit. because they turn on without a relay harness and havent had any problem

  • I think he made that Toyota Camry look more shittier with the HIDs...

  • @bkpaal to me it makes the driver look like a fool

  • I just got back from my dealership and asked how much it costs to install an HID conversation. They quoted me at about $400. That is just to install them. FUCK RIGHT OFF. What a joke. 4 minute video here. $400 equals almost 7 hours install? WTF?

  • @oxycodonez your paying for factory and OEM quality ballasts and HID bulbs. Meaning you are getting better than what any online store can get you and getting it installed correctly and probably a new headlight housing made for HIDs (because installing HIDs into halogen housings like in the video is illegal and makes glare for other drivers)

  • will some chevy s10 hid's fit on a jeep grand cherokee laredo

  • weak ass hids

  • I have ordered a kit for my 95 Jaguar X300. The battery is in the boot ! so how can I commect the Pos/Neg connections ?.

  • @Covenanter62 Kit fitted - Cool!

  • Before you sell HID kits do you let people know that if they use them in reflector housings they are asking for a bat to the headlight?

  • @CGDoig What do you mean, I have been thinking about buying a kit. Will they damage the headlight?

  • @TanMan855 no they just blind people

  • @TanMan855 No but when HID's are used in non projector housings they are very bright and splash light around differently than halogens. Potentially blinding other drivers or causing an accident.

  • @TanMan855 What he means is you will piss people off.

  • @CGDoig you cant use a reflector headlamp? i been wanting to convert my acura rsx just been doing research past week or so.

  • @neuregel

You can use a reflector headlamp. That guy is just saying that they aren't meant to be used with HID bulbs. Projector type housings will give you better light focus. Reflector type housings tend to not aim the light as well, so you aren't getting the most out of the lights, and you can end up shooting light at oncoming traffic.

  • @CGDoig Are they really that bright? Or just when using high beams?

  • great video. All you need now is Autovision Pro.......

  • anyone know if your supposed to disconnect your battery before messing with wiring for you hids

  • I need help, I'm a very big idiot..

  • Hi, i have h4 hid low beam xenon and halogen for high bean, i installed the kit just like on this video it work but for some reason my xenon is on a high bean and low bean is nothing. Anyone know how to fix that?

  • monkey arms

  • is it possible you can make an instructional video for a 98 camaro...or refer me to someone who can please

  • H7!

  • fuck having metal there and shit, you should have the battery disconnected to start with

plus you can touch battery terminals with wet hands, but yes no metal and not tools

  • thats not 0guage its more like 8guage wier for your sound system i got 1guage in my car and the wier is bigger then my thumbs its huge man

  • I fitted a pair of HIDs to a 2002 Micra and they were superb! Not got the bottle to fit a set to my new Polo incase something goes wrong though :(

  • I Installed an HID Kit on my aveo and I think the DRL fucked it up.First they were flickering whenever I started the engine then they just stopped working. No freaking lights at all.No flicker no nothing. The ballasts or bulbs fucked?or maybe both?

I know I'll have to disable the drl next time but my concern now is will my kit still work?I have the HID low/Halogen high. The halogens highs work but the hid lows don't.Someone plz help me!I don't know what to do!!!

  • @hardtocreate your problem is you are putting hid's in an aveo.

  • 0 guage for tha bass!!!!!

  • this might help my friend in orange county that cant change a spare tire,..

  • fuck you aftermarket HID kits, 90% of the time its some shitty honda with a muffler dragging on the ground with the HIDs in the stock halogen housings at 8k and its soo blinding, without all the shit driving the streets i would barely ever use my highbeams, now i flash them on all the time

  • @paintballgundown8 Exactly why i hate mine. I got a replacement 6k instead whatever the previous owner had put in. Such a shame, over killed to the maximum.

  • I'm looking at putting HID lights in a 97 corolla and if anyone can give me some advice on what to do that would be cool. Doesn't feel bright enough when i drive with the Halogen lights so i was going to buy a set of halo projector housings and a conversion kit but was told about temp with the halo rings so if anyone can help please do. Don't wanna mess up and do all this work for nothing.

  • HAHAHAHAH HIGH PERFORMACE POSITIVE TERMINAL HAHAHAH

Plus horrible spots for your ballast. they are super exposed to water and debris.

    Goodluck.

  • is only one ballast connected to the battery

  • Jesus, wept. ANOTHER car headlight designed for a FILAMENT bulb which will now dazzle oncoming road users as the light will be scattered EVERYWHERE. These kits are NOT for filament based headlights so stick them in a projector unit ONLY you selfish bastards!

  • @Rhythmeister

The guy has got a point here - however, times are chainging and the manufacturers improve their products too. Someone has talked me to install a Phillips conversion kit, into plain regular headlamps of my Triumph Sprint ST 955. The H4 replacement bulbs are designed to maintain the positions of high and low beam so well, that the projection image on the wall has barely changed - only as it comes to a color, perhaps (although I choose 4500K!).

  • @Rhythmeister

Well, the prtojection-image is signifficantly more full and bright, if you know what I mean. Still, to treat a fellow-driver with your high beam might be very dangerous. I mean, we don't wanna kill people really - do we? :-)

  • @Krzys0z0Aten I'm taking about the DIPPED beams that retards put in their cars that have normal filament bulb headlights which therefore scatter LOTS of light into the drivers of oncoming vehicles. The problem is worse for me as two of my cars are very low (Eunos Roadster and lowered Carina II) and I nearly have to stop if there are pedestrians about in case I hit one. Scatter is scatter, end of story!

  • do you sell just relay harness, i didn't have mine for a year an its already giving me problems

  • hidsrus.com has better ones than these.

  • question can u use the same bulbs from a 35w kit to a 55w kit? or are the bulbs different? bought a 35w kit want a 55w kit now do i have to buy the whole kit or just the 55w ballast. help please. =)

  • @8320884 yes you can but the longevity of the bulb decreases dramatically. From ~3000hours t about 300-400hours

  • @hulbert87 damn that sucks u think i should just buy the whole kit instead?

  • @8320884 bulbs are the same for 35w hids and 55watt hids

  • You guys are fucking assholes, that is not a proper conversion kit. All your doing is creating scattered light and blinding oncoming traffic. HID lights have specially designed fixtures that'll create direct light. I hope you guys blind a big rig and he runs your ass over.

  • do u have to groound both balcc wires

  • hey my three prong connector is different from my stock wiring? what to i need to get it to connect?

  • I got my hid setup going without a harness. What difference is made with using a harness vs not using one?

  • my battery is in my trunk?

  • @4jiggy1 mine too but i have a terminal thing in my hood how would that work anybody know 2010 dodge charger

  • lol he said high performance uhh positive terminals hahahahahahahaha

how much hp gain you get with that LMMFAO it looks uber <-- thats german too buddy

  • My car has 2 dif. bulbs for high beam and low beam so i take it I would have to get two HID kits?

  • @AlexR4513 yes

  • Comment removed

  • "zero gauge for the bass" haha

  • What you're doing in this video is illegal without also installing HID headlamp housings made from a factory for your vehicle and not simply modified to accept a projector housing to which you can install an HID bulb. Stop selling these kits unless you notify the buyer first that he needs to have this kind of housing first before your kit will be legal for road use.

  • whats better to do the lowbeams or the highbeams?

  • @Dansz71sierra low beams because these are pretty bright so why do highbeams?

  • @icool247 to kep the cops of me lol is a pretty good reason iv ben stoped for "bright lights" already lol had my rollbar and brush lights on already seems to make them made lol

  • hidcanada (dot) com, What is HID Tab.

Q: Can't I just buy a higher wattage bulb and get the same results?

A: No, absolutely not. Increasing wattage increases the power drawn from your electrical system. Your stock wiring and fuses also have limitations - exceeding them with very high wattage (bubls) not intended to run with your stock setup can lead to problems.

Careful it is very high wattage bubls...

  • In a few simple steps another jerk off is on the road blinding people by putting HID's in a reflector headlight. GAY

  • It's SUCH a shame that they are illegal and dangerous.

  • idiot!!!! the black is grounding it goes to the body of the car!!!!!

you will burn you car some day :)

and wtf!!! you drilled the hid balast on to the chassie of the car

    what a fdiot!!!

    sloppy very sloppy instal!

  • seeder 2005, high pressure wires are high voltage wires, but buddy doesn't know proper electrical terms. Also you can touch a 12v car battery with bare skin, it can't hurt you unless you have water on you skin at the time and even then it feels like sand paper rubbing on you skin at worst.

  • Did he leave on the plastic bulb shroud when he put it in?

  • @90W7 Haha I think he did, dont worry he was being safe and not touching the bulb to prevent premature death of it :P

  • @sl66ICEcuba lol i jus realized it thatz funny as shit i got some installed on my car but like everyone should kno u need halo/projectors to keep them from not being so bright

  • This guy needs to flush the radiator gosh that fluid was soo dark coloured....

    Poor car...

  • QUALITYHIDS my ass.....i dont see nothing quality about this. not to be smart but why in the hell is he conecting direct power to the hids

  • thats was a ractchet now a torge wrench........

  • MR Video maker this is fucking horse shit, why would any one want to fix those lights directly onto a battery, thats wat the factory light harness was for, only plus u have is using the lights when ur car is off, way to go on killing the battery

  • @SyrusFox The ballasts require a power source...what would you recommend in place of the battery (hint: battery is the correct answer in most cases). The lights will not drain the battery. Why you might ask...this is the purpose of the relay. When it senses a closed circuit from the factory harness, it triggers a closed circuit for the battery to the ballasts to power the HID's.

  • hid on a fucking camry?

  • on weksos.com they ask for an appliaction. wtf is that?

  • seeder2005 ok your a dumbass i dont get how you have been in for 25 years car batteries like everyother battery is DC you cant get shocked my DC only AC there ya go you jus got showed up by a 18 year old thankyou have a nice day

  • @jcarolina864 any thing can produce a electric shock, dc or ac. have you ever licked the terminals of a 9v battery? That's a small electric shock.

  • '

try take off the battery and more room to fix the headlight

  • walnoł bull with inverters mounted upside down to see that he never read the instructions

  • pokazuje jak zamontowć a walnoł byka z przetwornicami do góry nogami zamontował widac że instrukcji nie czytał

  • i got hid kits for $65 people get at me! $70 shipped!! good quality

  • *** I'm a police officer in Maryland and these are ILLEGAL If you don't have the proper headlight housing. I write repair orders for these atleast 3 times a week.

*** DO NOT TOUCH BOTH BATTERY LEADS AT THE SAME!!!! MORON!!

PLUS: Do not leave the the other factory headlight harness open for corrosion. Seal it some how... shrink wrap or even electrical tape

  • I am Judy from Xencon HID.

I spend much time and Money to see youtube in China, but still can not see the vedios. How pity!

  • I'll support the law that makes it illegal in non-HID housings. FYI - buy a real car if you want HID lights.

  • these blue positive wires are really hurting my eyes!!

  • lol the hid kit is worth more than the car

  • @06k20z1 LOL

  • 672000 views. lmfao

  • illegal and please stop installing cheap hid kits on old stupid cars it looks stupid..

  • lol nice car. NOT

  • God I hate people like this who install these super weak ass HID kits. Terrible quality and ghetto without using a proper projector.

  • @obocecha

^^I like this guy; someone who actually has sense, unlike these kidiots who post HID videos of their honda.

  • @obocecha God I hate people who bitch about everything.

  • @obocecha i just installed a set of projector lights and the low beams suck because of them lol granted i dont have the hid installed yet

  • @obocecha what is a projector?

  • @obocecha

Why? Cuz your one of the fags when I pull up to a light behind you, you block all your mirrors and flick me off? Ha sucks to suck

  • @MrButterflyking im putting flood lights on the back of my car.

  • @obocecha i love it when they install these into their yellowed out sun faded headlights. screams euro all over

  • @obocecha exactly... I like the HID lights but isnt he using the stock headlight housing which just makes it useless???

  • @obocecha Im not disagreeing with you, but for 100 bucks or less, do they even brighten up the road a little better than factory? Im only asking because My pops wants some brighter lights so he can see a little better. Im just not trying to spend the amount of money it takes to do projector conversion.

Id appreciate some info if you can help me out here.

  • @obocecha hey man got a queestion for some1 who may know but i got angle eyes for a jeep GC 2007 with an HID conversin kit...do i need a relay or is it somtheing tha can be overlooked

  • @tizzy6 I suggest getting a Relay for this vehicle. As with any Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler.

  • @obocecha well some of us cant spend 200 bucks on a kit that does the same thing just a lil better jesus

  • @obocecha WHY WOULD YOU KEEP WATCHING THESE "SUPER WEAK ASS" HID INSTALL VIDEOS????

  • @ategra2000 I certainly don't frequent these videos by any means. I clicked on it after watching another video on retrofits. I've become tired of seeing plug and play kits on cars that look and perform cheaply.

  • Only assholes install these lights. Regardless if you're looking directly into the lights, or if some dick-head behind you has them, they're distracting and annoying.

  • all the old fucks bitch about your lights are to bright or you music is to loud... go lay down and die bitches really...cause you can't seem to drive ur caddy at the speed limit and are always trying to run my ass down on my bike...

  • So simple.. on my 04 altima I gotta take the damn front 2 tires off to access the headlights, fml.

  • @Spense626 really? i just have to take front bumper off my 05, still a bitch though.

  • Illegal, and
