  • amd radeon my ass , i bought mine at walmart and and it has the the shitty video card and processor

  • @HEATSEEKINGGHOST Sucks for you bro. Should have checked the specs.

  • URGENT!!!!!! i have two little vent bits missing from the side of my vaio, and one of them digs into those gold things behind them, is this a serious issue??????????????????/

  • @Crater56 The coper behind the vents simply functions as a heatsink. So as long as it does not mess with the fans, no. The metal is just there to draw heat from the graphics card or processor, it should be fine :)

  • @JamesManes thank you!!!!

  • I think Vaio with MacOs is a match made in heaven...!

  • I have this vaio, and the build quality is the worst thing about it. I had to replace the screen because my cousins broke it, so i Miss the original screen as sony wanted 300 for an original one so i went with a third party one. I still think a macbook pro wins hanfs down, even with the price, especially now.they upped the specs.

  • @avengful Dude, macs are low quality, they overheat like crazy, which I consider unacceptable, and my iMac's LCD panel has shitted out, surpassingly a friend is having a similar problem with his macbook. Mac's are not higher quality than good PCs, and sony is top rated in quality.

  • Enrico:

not true, i bought a vaio 17" 1900X1400 two year ago ... all plastic very good monitor, but plastic ... after three months power plug in ac/dc was broken in way of the green light ... virus, antivirus, update, BOOT REBOOT, VISTA, drivers .... tired i bought a macbook pro 15" i7 ... another world !!!!

  • @enqueir 1400 by 1900? What the hell, I've never heard of the that resolution before. I'm sorry you bought a crappy Vaio, didn't treat it well, and didn't maintain your operating system well, you clearly don't know how to use windows, and that's fine, go spend 3000 dollars to get the same thing if it works for you.

  • @avengful Do I give a shit about any of that? No! Do I have better specs with a smaller failrate for less money? Of course I do. squaretrade (DOT) com/htm/pdf/SquareTrade_laptop_reliability_1109 (DOT) pdf Read this. Apple comes in fourth. Also, you are very, very, obnoxious.

  • @avengful Actually Apple copied this design from Sony. Sony had this design way before apple did. Also, it is not a junky PC, Sony has lower failrates than apple and better specs for the money. It would cost about 900 dollars to get a sony with the same specs as a 1,800 dollar macbook.

  • I used to be a PC! Never would even look at a mac! This was a year and a half ago but i made the change and the mac is a better device at a premium price as well but i think if you can afford it it is much better than windows. For college i'll be going into engineering and need a very nice laptop computer that can handle a very large 3D CAD engineering design program. On the mac ill be able to run both mac OSX Lion and Windows 7 ultimate using boot camp so i can run my engineering program.

  • 15" high res glossy display, it has 8gb ram, 750gb hard drive, and a quad core intel i7 2.2ghz processor running both mac and windows. Thats unheard of on a normal windows computer. Also it looks 10x sleeker and sexier than any windows computer. The only windows computer ive seen to compare was a 17" Alienware laptop for 4000 bucks vurses the 2500 buck macbook i just described! Now you tell me which is overpriced. Also Mac OS is a much better UI compared to windows 7. once u go mac u nev go back

  • @hiian123 I went mac, but then I went back. And those specs are not unheard of, you are just nuts. Look up the HP Envy. Aluminum body, sleek, higher res than the macbook, 8 gb of ram, dual 1 tb hdds if you wish, i7 quad mobile, running the most compatible OS in the world, Windows. Or Linux if you like that type of thing, but I would not reccommend linux. How much money does this config cost? What's that? Only 1,900? Looks like it is cheaper than your macbook.

  • @hiian123 Have fun.

  • well the display is actually florescent. but still works fine. eventually they will all be replaced with LED's since they produce a White light and don't distort any image colors. but i haven't noticed any of that on my laptop

  • HAHAHA i have the same laptop! it is a really kick ass machine! sturdy beautiful and performs EXCELLENT! and i also got mine from newegg, but i got the chocolate edition.

  • @jJamesManes besides the macbook air...............

    EXACTLY

  • macbook dnt flex because thy r lighter and thiner, thn windows laptops.

  • @blaxican5895 There are laptops that run windows that are lighter and thinner than macbooks.

  • I really don't see the point in mac vs pc as mac can dual boot windows , LEGALLY. Yes you can build a hackintosh and it will give you kernel panics freezing and a lot of problems like some bios are not versatile to create one. Both are really good os so i dont see the point in saying mac is better , windows is better etc..... I personally prefer mac but everyone is entitled to their opinion

  • Funny how Mac doesn't have any more commercials about pc, they can't find anything wrong with windows 7. Jk Im considering a MacBook pro 15, hp envy 14(beats audio), Sony vaio, and Dell studio 15. Which is the best for college.....

  • YES other pc's have more features than the mac. The mac is really made for certain things and is VERY good at it. Macs are one of the best computers for studio/music, film/editing and really just moving foward in designs as that is wat apple is. Ther practically ther own technology.

People with argue wat type of computer is better but one thing is certain, macs are better some stuff that pc aint and pc better at some stuff that mac isnt.

  • mac is way better

  • @eduardoborrero1 You are entitled to your opinion.

  • I like Macs and PCs, I'll leave it at that.

  • just saying mac makes me laugh

  • sony vaio basically kills the mac, mac sucks and so does its software and sony vaio rules and so does its software

  • @eatsleepgameclan lol uhh i hope this was a joke on how ingorant some people are.... you gave NO proof to back up your biased opinion

  • @Hatrickjoe lulz

  • Yeah gotta love sonys I was considering getting a mac but I tried my friend's brand new imac, the vaio I got is cheaper, it's a laptop, and surprisingly alot faster. Idk what it is with macs they're so expensive but ridiculously slow compared to windows 7. Great for video editing or battery life if you have alot of money to throw around, but I made the sensible choice and am so glad I got a pc.

  • yeah but ur gonna worry what ull download in maybe there will be a virus viruses are alive in anything this days but mac no need no worries i use an mac pro 12 core and its like the best computer ive owned and i also have macbook pro 15 inch mine and my sister

  • @tangkag879 Actually I don't worry about anything I have norton, if you really want you can get the 30day trial for free and pirate norton, but I just bought it was like 20 bucks for a year. Also macs do get viruses, just not as many. They still have security software for macs.

  • @jewsmakingmovies Really ? do you think a Toshiba wuld be better than a Mac ?

  • mac

  • should i get the macbook or the vaio

  • should i get the mac-book of vaio

  • c'mon these sonys are like just as expensive as mac so why not just buy the macbook pro and then install windows on it if your desperate? best of both worlds....you get awesome graphics software and you can play games if your interested any of those.. but ill tell you if you just want to use internet to watch porn, get any second hand crapy laptop! :D

  • @jack390 Nah vaio is like 900 and MBP is like 1.2k. Slight difference. But Windows has good graphics software too.... just as much as OS X.

  • @JamesManes windows is a resource hog...especially vista and cuz of that they have alot of graphics softwares mainly for mac. example like final cut, autodesk maya, n so on. windows though it might have the graphics card, the way both operating systems handle them are different. and any way you pay 300 more for something that can theoretically be both.

  • @jack390

Uhm, OS X uses more resources than windows. I have owned a mac. I kept my mac on for a week by putting it in sleep every night. By the end of the week I was using 3.5 GB of ram and swapping 2.4 GB. Windows 7 and even Vista after a week of the same use is only using 1.8 GB of my ram and swapping a few meg. Graphic softwares? Most of them are garbage. Photoshop and AVID are on windows and do a hell of a job.

  • @JamesManes lol plz i have a mac right now and i can tell you im using about 200 mb and compared to my windows vista which uses 400 mb while doing nothing! and as for graphics software, im in an art university and if you look for admissions to an art uni most likely one of the requirements is to have a mac....

  • @jack390 Inactive and used and kernel is all used ram. Only free is free. You are not only using 200 mb. Derp. Inactive is closed splatter are still running in ram for fast access. Don't feed us your ignorant lies. And the requirements are not to have Mac. Photoshop on windows is actually better than the os x version. What can a Mac do that windows can't? Nothing?

  • @JamesManes Closed Applications**

  • @JamesManes theres something called activity monitor which i can use to see the FREE ram. and c'mon you ignorant infant, why would i need to lie? and about the requirement thing i would have checked it up for some uni's on the web before putting that comment. i'm in an art uni and i know what the requirements are (not just for my school) and heres one thing that a mac can do... be a mac and windows... which sums up everything including my first comment. so you enjoy being a derp! convoends here

  • @jack390

Universeties that require a Mac would be rare. Some require PC, I'm sure, but no one talks about that do they. Free ram is green in activity monitor. I've owned one, and I know what I'm talking about. Leopard and SL use tons of ram. Tons and tons. Look at your swap file size. I bet it is already swaping.

  • @JamesManes lol their not rare go check it out...any way im done returning to this vid to reply to you.... and just a heads up, dont call the vid something vs something if your just partial to one in the first place.... not really a comparison... that said nice vid though... now if you dont mind i'm done with this convo... :)

  • @jack390 I said it was half a comparison, re-read the title. Anyhow your mac uses more than 200 mb of ram on bootup. I can guarentee that ;)

  • Honestly the only drawback of the f series is the fact that it's built more for home entertainment than mobile use so the battery life isn't too good. Other than that if my next comp is a Pc it's gonna be a viao.

  • fucking niggers all fucking pcs suck

  • LOL my old comp. vs. my old comp.

  • hello! don't say its vaio vs. mac if all you're gonna show is vaio!

  • @ajaay16

    It says half a comparison

  • My 4 old vaio matches the macbook now.... Well u get the idea of outbitching

  • why didnt you show any mac?

  • Hmm I thought that was a MacBook for a sec when I saw the keyboard!!

  • wow cos sony didnt copy the macbook with that now did they, look at the thing it friking identical - hackintosh lol

  • @sdeary1 Sony had this design before Apple. Apple copied sony.

  • @JamesManes exactly XD

  • @JamesManes lol I guess that says something about the quality of Sony if Apples finished product is superior in every way. BTW Sony doesn't machine from aluminium. Sorry you FAIL.

  • @Jospehporta

First of all, never said it was aluminum. I said it was magnesium.

Second, apples product is not superior in every way. Saying something is better in every way is fanboyism and a complete false. There is no such thing as "better in every way" in any situation.

  • @JamesManes oh well. when hey have an operating system that copied apple from the 1980's then apple should be aloud to take the design and perfect it

  • @WarpeaceWar6 Apple has an OS that is based off of a1969 technology called UNIX. Oh and they bought CUPS... and stole widgets from longhorn... aaaaand took sony's vaio design. Doesn't matter though.

  • @sdeary1 If taking something another company has made, and making it better is"copying", fine, call it what you will. I call it pwnership. This is why Sony is excellent, and how they operate.

PS: Apple developed its first OS from a little thing called Unix, originally taken from XEROX OS designed for copy machines! So it seems the only one who "copies" anything around here is Apple. LMAO :P

  • um... doesnt magnesium like...i dono...BLOW UP? or catch fire?

  • What model is the trackpad? Most Synaptics trackpads do actually support multitouch. In fact a lot of trackpad's support multi-touch, however official drivers disable multi-touch support because most OS's don't support it. The generic Windows 7 driver should install multi-touch support, and there are 3rd party drivers too.

  • @arthmus01

It is alps... yes I know, EW.

  • @JamesManes

ALPS touchpads support multi-touch too. sometimes it's just a matter of changing a registry key to enable it, sometimes you need to install a different driver. The ALPS touchpad in the Dell studio 1536 supports multitouch, and touchpad drivers tend to be generic, you could try installing them on it.

Apple like to pretend they invented the multi-touch trackpad, but most laptops sold in the last 5 years have one.

  • what is the screen resolution?

    1600*900 or 1920*1080?

  • @scriptedBug

    1600x900

  • what can i say, you get what you pay for.... sorta nice hardware but your still running windows so its not as good as mac... plus no magsafe adaptor...if you trip over your cord there goes ur laptop... not as sleek either.

  • @michaelovesrh

OS X is not better than windows. Both have great qualities, so dont even try to say OS X is better.

  • @JamesManes Mac OS X S Snow Leopard is the world's most advanced operating system.

  • @michaelovesrh

Who told you that rubbish? Apple? Of course they will say its the most advanced. They want your money. If you truely look at each kernel, NT is the most advanced.

  • @JamesManes why should i look at each kernel...do i worry about the kernel when im using the computer? no... its about the User experience...The OS and its Hardware work beautifully with each other with limited security hazard, immediate problem fixes, and brilliant circuitry between the computer's processes that are made with the software together. All together making the Macs a more finely tuned product then windows.

  • @michaelovesrh

Absolutely false. The kernel has everything to do with the users experience. Windows has way better networking tools than OS X thanks to NT, along with better core security. Yes I said it, Windows is more secure. OS X has been hacked in under 5 minutes. It loses the pwn to own contest every year in a row.

  • @JamesManes not better...with windows 7 yeah it closed up threats to trojans and spyware, but macs os does not hold a threat... tell me...how much battery can u get out of ur sony??? my guess is shit

  • @michaelovesrh

I use an acer timeline right now, 8 hrs of battery. My sony gets about 2 hr 30 minutes. Good enough for me.

Also, you are talking as if trojans and spyware go under security. LoL. I'm talking buffer overflow attacks and really nasty stuff. OS X is terrible at defending normal stuff like that. It fails hardcore actually.

  • @JamesManes Macbook Pros just got updated with i5's and i7's while maintaining 8-9 hours of expected battery life... now thats what id call attention to user experience... for whatever reason Macs have been less of a security threat over the years and once they become more popular they will continue to patch up any openings... unfortunately Windows learn the hard way and had really secured things up with Windows 7

  • @michaelovesrh

Actually, MS secured up big time with Vista. 7 Just improved upon those securities. Also, an i5 macbook starts at 1,800 dollars. Rediculous out the ass. I could get an i7 HP Envy for like 1,700. LoL. Macs have 5% market share or so, that is why they have "less security problems." The truth is, they have way more, but no one is out to get 5% of the market.

  • @michaelovesrh do you really use 8-9 hours of battery? I can't think of a time you would need that much and can't get to a wall

  • @michaelovesrh sony claims its 4 hours but its only 2 hours

  • @IIC4NCELEDII

    Yea I noticed..

  • @michaelovesrh Yeaah thats true. Sony battery sucks and is windows 7 good with threat snow leapord mac ?

  • @JamesManes how do you know that ? have you hacked one ? Internet ? huh ?

  • @pinkynjashie Do I know what? I have no idea what you are speaking about. Hacked what?

  • @pinkynjashie snow leapord ?

  • @pinkynjashie I haven't, but it has already been compromised man. Took like 2 minutes, just as it did with Leopard.

  • @michaelovesrh lol trying to push apple's marketing as fact

    get out moron

  • @michaelovesrh Does style really matter? OS X may be the most advanced because they warn you about viruses and all that shit. But they don't have as much programs as Windows do. Don't even talk about the fucking operating system dumbass. It's all about the specs.. And Macs are overpriced shit. I can get the same specs as a MacBook Pro for like $600. Did you know that you pay 135$ to take off the glossy screen on a MacBook Pro? Therefore, the matte screen was already built-in!

  • @TheLuckAndLove

OS X is not the most advanced. Its old UNIX shit....

  • @JamesManes Did I say it is? Oh wait.. Yeah, but I only think it is because the OS warns and alerts about viruses. I only like Macs because they don't crash, and they're fast.

  • @TheLuckAndLove

Macs do crash.. I have had itunes overflow into spotlight and I had to re-install the OS to get spotlight working right. Also, macs have decent hardware, but PCs have faster hardware.

  • @JamesManes The hardware on this sony vaio F series laptop is very reliable. I have yet to experience a single win7 crash on it. Been running it for 2½ months now. :)

  • @TheLuckAndLove Actually, I would agree that OSX is pretty amazing, but its not virus-proof as so many Apple automatons believe. Much of the world still runs on Windows, and only a small percentage of the world use OSX. Therefore, most viruses are written to attack Windows systems, so of course a Windows virus would not effect a MAC. However, when higher percentages of people start using OSX, then a higher percentage of OSX viruses will emerge. Its only a matter of time.

  • this is just a macbook pro copy

  • @aiilen24

No sony had this style before the macbooks went aluminum. Chicklet keys have been done by sony for ages.

  • Cant say anything about the Mac, I have an FW-11 since 2yrs. If U can compromise, keep in focus Ur talking about a laptop, wich is my case is not a modern one - its good enough for gaming (GTR2, Command and Conquer series, Unreal, all from the Cycling Manager series, etc) apart from a few heating issues its silent enough, stylish.

  • Me too, but I'm getting MacBook White..

  • Ooh, no. I've been choosing between a Mac or a Sony Vaio for a very long time since I was told my mom would get me a computer.

  • Oh wow, thank you for posting that comment. I was gonna buy a Sony Vaio F Series for gaming but a MacBook Pro with a 9400M Graphics Card seems fine..

  • @TheLuckAndLove lol if you are gonna game get the sony dude.

    >macbook

    >gaming

    You're doing it wrong.

  • Actually, the MacBook can handle some games, only if it has good graphic cards. The game I've wanted is Sims 3 which I already have. I know that Sony Vaio F plays games really smoothly but I've heard it has that buzzing syndrome which does not look good. 9400M is a pretty good graphics card, and I've seen it play games and it's meant for good picture qualities but it works for gaming..

  • @TheLuckAndLove Macbook is about 300 dollars more, so its your choice.

  • Not really, the Sony Vaio F with 330 GTU calls for 899

while the MacBook calls for 999.

  • @TheLuckAndLove Oh the whitebook. Eh, whitebooks are ok.

  • @TheLuckAndLove Macbook is more than enough for gaming but it just more expensive than other laptop. if you want gaming macbook, go with 15" model that has 512mb dedicated graphic.

  • Kinda over my budget. But hey, it's my B-day gift. I am getting a MacBook Pro 13" but I'm gonna make it select with more hard drive space.

  • You might want to get it with more ram too... OS X can eat up 2 GB in no time.

With about 8 apps open after a day of uptime you will easily use 3.5 gb of ram.

  • That RAM stays there. If I'm just playing Sims 3, then I ate up all the RAM, but once I quit, it all comes back. My bro's crappy computer is only 2GB Ram and it plays Sims 3 very slowly because it was not meant for gaming. The 7100M Graphics card is not good, but I only needed 7200 to play TS3 smoothly. I have a friend who plays the game on Mac Mini and it's been fine. It even had 2GB Ram.

  • But it kinda sucks when you can't change the video card. I wanted the 9600 but nope.. Only the 15" and 17" get's the 9600M. I might as well get Sony Vaio CW because it can play Sims 3 fine. I've probably getting Sony but I just hope it doesn't break! I like the OS X style, but hey, I just use Rocket Dock.

  • Your Sony Vaio will not break.

    Take a look here:

    squaretrade (DOT) com/htm/pdf/SquareTrade_laptop_reliability_1109.pdf

As for OS X style, it is nice. Mac OS X has quartz which is capable of rendering the best user interface in current times, BUT their drivers and UI run in kernel space, making it exploitable, and system damageable.

In windows, ever since Vista, video drivers and the user interface have been in user space. That way if something bad happens to the UI, your system is ok.

  • Really? Because I've been told that the store-bought Vaios will break, as for the shipped ones won't. And the link just says 1x1 Pixels..

  • I don't have even have one.. :P I've been thinking about the current laptops for my B-Day.. It's been either Sony Vaio CW or MacBook Pro 15"..

  • @JamesManes I agree with ya now. I can get this FW for $1300 with way better specs than a Mac. It's a very sexy laptop compared to MacBook Pro.

  • That is a pretty good rate. Asus is bomb though.

  • Oh I hate Sony. Big time, but they make good PC's. Their failrates are very low. Lower than apples.

  • Really? My wifi switch is ok.

  • Actually, a tray loaded optical drive has its advantages.

On many of them you can see the lense when you pull the tray out.

That makes it real easy to clean it with a q-tip.

While on the MB/MBP you have to send it in if you can't clean the drive with a cleaning CD.

Also, the tray will accomodate 8cm CD's.

Seen many people try to stick those mini-CD's into the superdrive, ending up in a world of hurt.

  • but yet, i can actually max out all of my games on the highest settings and run them at least 20-30 fps, which you CANT do.

oh and considering your video that you made about FedoraFTW and the HDD density, so that means, your HDD can beat one of my old old 5200 60 gb hdd?

  • Fedora bought a rather slow HDD, but he games so its not a big deal. And yes, my 500 gb 5200 RPM HDD would beat your 5200 60 GB hdd. One on one that is. I'm sure you know about data density but you can look it up if you wish.

As for games, nope i cannot do that, but I am not a gamer and I bought a laptop. Stop comparing desktops to laptops. Its a stupid comparison.

  • i honestly doubt that your not even old enough to work at a computer shop, and even if you were, a pc shop? really? that sounds like a great name coming from out of your ass.

  • abccomp (DOT) net

I work there. Im 17. Also I have won many awards in FBLA for technology concepts and cyber security. Got 1st this year ;)

  • Also

i43 (DOT) tinypic (DOT) com/o6xjc3 (DOT) jpg

Bluray on sony vaio. screenshot from site.

  • oh cry me a river, i can control my desktop with my ipod touch, i can surf the web on my ipod touch, install apps, games music, video, why would i need a big ass laptop?

  • If you could do all that with your itouch why even get a desktop then?

Rofl, itouch is not a laptop and a laptop is not a desktop. Stop comparing incomparable stupid shit.

  • you cant play blue-ray on your mac hell you cant use the LG external blue-ray burner on mac OSX( not supported ) even if you bootcamp windows (google it) i have to admit macbooks looks cooler and have long battery life however blue-ray is the futrue

  • Bluray is dead

  • ??? Replaced by what Laser disc lol!

  • @qwertywerty123456 Replaced by no disk. CDs are almost dead.

  • @JamesManes oh and TRUE 1080p video will lag on that laptop just because of the proccessor.

  • @JamesManes your gonna sit here and tell me that the proccessor can handle ture 1080p when it can't? and on top of that, you don't even have a bluray player, thus talking about of your ass.

  • I work at a PC store. I see vaios all the time. They play 1080p perfectly.

  • @JamesManes you proved my point mate, it doesn't come by default and you have to pay extra.

  • That was not your point. You stated that my laptop could not use bluray. It can.

  • @JamesManes obviously it can with a cpu upgrade. and the F series isn't the same as yours, the F series has a i7, yours has a core duo, which is complete garb.

  • It is not garbage. Dual core 2.53 can run 1080p just fine. I have a 1600x900 screen for god sakes. It was made at 16:9 for a fucking reason.

  • Core 2 Duo p8700

  • @JamesManes alright then lemme ask you, what is the exact model name of the CPU?

take mine for an example since your rather slow, iIntel® Core™2 Quad Q6600.

  • @JamesManes alright then, do me a favor, run a 1080p video on youtube for several minutes and watch your tempatures

  • @JamesManes, no its not.

  • Bluray is pretty much dead. It is not "that awesome new thing" like cds were... Its dead.

  • uh JamesManes, still false,. they still sell blu-ray dvd's, and they look great on my 1080p tv.

sorry to say, but bluray is not dead, and just because you can't have it in your laptop doesn't make it dead.

another thing, the most important thing in a gaming rig is the graphics card.

    not the HDD.

  • Actually I can have it in my laptop, but I do not want it because it is expensive and dead. Just like records. Audiophiles say records produce better sound. Records are still sold and so are turntables.

    Shit is still fucking dead.

  • @jamesmanes, i was specifically talking about your mac.

and even if you were to install a bluray player on your laptop, it wouldn't be able to handle it, heck i looked at your proccessor, the thing is trash.

and nope bluray, isn't dead your just a fanboy trying to say anything to get pc users pissed off. aka thats what trolls do. cheers.

  • I have no mac. I have a sony vaio that comes with bluray you dipshit. But I replaced the BluRay drive because it was expensive and dead. Also, I have a 2.53 Dual core with 4 gb of ram and an ATI radeon 4650 with 1 GB of dedicated ram on the card. I can handle bluray. But the shit is dead so I don't want it.

  • Damn I bet you feel stupid.

  • True 1080P does not lag at all. (: GPU takes care of most of the video.

  • alright so now your gonna sit here and lie to me saying that it comes with a bluray player? *smells bullshit*.

1, your a cheap bastard, thats why your bashing bluray.

    2. a 4650? fucking EW.

    3. dual core? no thanks

only thing your getting out of your system is the looks of a mac, and 4 GB of ram.

another thing, it doesn't make sense that you would take out your bluray player because it costs to much money.. "DIPSHIT"

damn i bet you feel stupid.

  • Actually, Macs stole the vaio style. True story.

Go to sonys site. Comes with bluray and runs absolutely fine. No lag at all. You are just asshurt you don't have a kickass bluray playing laptop.

  • My vaio can play bluray with no lag.

I took it out of my vaio in the customizations to lower price.

Also, Vaios do come with a bluray player..

Look it up on their site.

  • @JamesManes i'm an asshurt?! ZOMG! lolwut?

dumbshit, i don't need a kickass laptop, i have a gaming rig desktop, which you can never afford.

Q6600 3.0 GHz, 4 GB DDR2 800 mhz ram, two 30 GB ssd's, and two 160 gb 5400 rpm' hdds (which can beat the shit out of yours :)

overclocked 8800 GT (729 mhz for core clock, 999 Mhz for memory clock, and 1728 mhz for the shader clock)

your laptop is shit, and btw i can't even find that crap laptop on the sony viao or w/e site.

    "Sony Vaio VGN-FW"

    -dipshit.

  • The vaio FW merged with another to make the vaio F. Look at that one.

Also, my laptop can move to a different room without turning off.

    I win.

  • @JamesManes oh and look , you took the bluray player out because you can't afford it. bluray is the future, and obviously your not part of the future.

  • Actually digital media is the future. We will get rid of disks completely.

  • @JamesManes indeed you did get me on the place you work at, but they really do need a new web developer, as in the site sucks, i sure in the hell wouldn''t visit/buy anything from that store judging by their site.

my point being, bluray is not dead, your laptop is garb. and doesn't come with a bluray player by default, and my 60 gb HDD will spank you :)

  • My laptop is garbage? Explain.

Default? Not a big deal, just hit the checkbox for bluray and then buy it. Rofl so hard man.

Your 60 wont beat me. One on One its same RPM speed but I have better data density.

  • @JamesManes yup congrats, you can watch 1080 with your cpu usage at 100 %, take 30 minutes of that, and watch your tempatures.

  • Uhm, my usage is around 70-80 with 1080p fullscreen. It is not a big deal. You act like CPU renders videos completely. The GPU does a shitton of work. I can run 720p on my fucking acer timeline without lag dude. And its an intel 4500 GMA with a 1.4 ghz ultra low voltage processor. ROFL. You must think computers have to be gods to play video. Its not a big deal.

Also, you need to stop comparing desktops to laptops.

MY CARROT IS > YOUR ORANGE!!

  • there wont be discs in the future, dumbass

  • Wow.. Does it has a Mac safe, Single button multi touch glass track pad, Battery indicator on the outside, Optical audio in/out, Luminous keyboard, isight quality webcam, Slot loadable drive, Does it have the motion sensor ?????

Does it run Mac OS X legally ?

My iMac 1998 has that CD drive that Sony VIO unibody has..

And, Reason people buy computers is because of the OS. Not beauty.

I don't expect you to run DOS on this laptop. Same way Mac users get Macs for its OS.

  • @applerocks

    User name > Applerocks

    Fanboy.

Macbook does not have a 4650 with 1 gb of video ram, 1600x900 res, standard HDMI port, and a few other things that Vaio has.

    >And, Reason people buy computers is because of the OS.

Proof to back this up? Its completley not true, that is your opinion and is not a valid argument.

  • JamesManes dont make your self look any more stupide

  • @WilliamDanoldWard

    ....you spelled stupid wrong.

  • i know an to clear this out i dot hate windows i just like my mac.
