  • i leave for boot in august then indoc for PJS right after. already feel pride in just having the opportunity to be among this true heroes.

  • @cameron4662 Yeh I hope to become a PJ as well and hope to see you out there

  • Exactly what I'm gonna do after high school and its less than a year away.

I can't wait to be an Air Force Pararescuemen and I'm gonna earn the title

  • I will be a US Air Force Pararescuemen

  • It takes a special person to want to become a PJ....it takes an even specialer person to become one.

  • @Mcgigglepies14 specialer?

  • WOW my dad did this its pretty serious i look up to him maybe i will be able to do this some day this makes me want to join the airforce and strive for this only 2 years of HS left then im goin in all i have to say is this is amazing

  • To become a PJ you need to push yourself to your breaking points and past that, you may not be the strongest physically, but mental toughness is the best thing to have. Mental Toughness let's you push yourself farther than you could ever dream

  • @JaWayne5 Like this quote I read a while back, I forgot who said it though, "Your body will never be tired until your mind is." I hate it when people argue over who is the best Special Forces and they never say anything about the PJs, the guys who save the others asses. I am going to become one but if I can't seem to pass it, not saying I won't, I can settle with being an Air Force sniper or even a pilot. When I pass the Pipeline I would like to be a doctor after my military career as a PJ.

  • 2 more years before I get the chance to do this

    and can't wait

  • I need to do this..

  • PJ's have always been the unsung heros of the military...they are a great group of guys, as a former C-130 loadmaster ive seen a few of the ramp of my plane...may god bless you for all you do

    SRA 96-00

  • I wanted to do this so badly, but my CO was and is a turd sucker, I had to stay in Security Police instead, damn I only made it 19 years before an auto accident put me out to pasture, an Honorable discharge but NO retirement, got a nice thank you letter from some joint chief of staff and a cool plaque, now I am forced to live on $519 per month! May God bless these guys, keep up the awesome work! Oh btw great video, took me way back when..... when life was good, thanks for some memories

  • I Love coming to a Page were we all act like Brothers and more than likely we never even met Each Other... Hoooah

  • @terristslayer08 Thats the beautiful thing about the internet.

  • @RPPanther81 I agree. A lot of people think the Air Force is useless. What would you do with out someone coming in enemy lines to save you? Pararescue is the men that would do anything to save you whether you are Army, Marines, or Navy we are all brothers.

  • @Swordsman808 i believe that..

  • @Swordsman808 i that 90% drop out is in the first 10 weeks.. if you make it through that then you've basically made it..

  • haha currently started my train up before i graduate high school, im a juinor right now!

  • Right npw im 13 going into the Airforce when i get out of high school. I want to be apart of this so bad i love the challenge. And i love the baddassness about pj's. Someone please can you tell me the requirements

  • @coolnameiscool They might be on the USAF website, under careers. TACP and ALO qualfiying requirements are on there in a .pdf file. I looked them up last year as a fitness goal. Those "minimum" requirements aren't easy (39 pushups, 45 situps, forget how many pullups all within a minute respectively), but I was in fair muscular shape and got them past minimum in a few weeks. My cardio was bad and that took a bit longer.

  • @coolnameiscool the site just gives you the basics, if you want specifics then just message me because its on a screenshot on my ipod. I just turned 14, and I'm starting now to try and do all of the requirements good. Being a Combat Rescue Officer (PJ leaders) is my lifetime goal and nothing is gonna stop me from doing that. If you're gonna do school sports do Cross Country, Swimming, Football, or Baseball if you're not a Football guy. "These things we do... That others may live."

  • @MHDuPont Not a bad idea, its nice to rescue people and you get to work outside the political mess. But your job isnt to fight thats that problem that i dont like so I'm going to try to make it in the SEALS. Good Luck and best wishes, and if your playing football try to be safe, you don't want and injury to not let you achieve your dream!

  • @MHDuPont baseball wont be your best option they are no where near the condition you need to be in

  • @coolnameiscool those are easy minimums, when I was in Security Police, I best was 76 push ups, 63 situps, I am 6'1 and 1/2" 225 lbs, now that is a lot of weight and mass to muscle around, but I loved it, oh 26 pull ups as well, plus I benched 505 lbs with a 55 lb bar, I was unstoppable, so I thought, my CO stopped my dreams of para-rescue, work hard, study hard, and play harder! only you can set your limits, "Aim High Air Force" best of luck kid, I am jealous for your dreams. Tsgt USAF 83-01

  • @DerGeist93 You say you benched 505lbs and can do only 76 pushups. Yeah, right you wish.

  • @Eagle9294 yea the 505 was in high school, the 76 push up per min was just before I got a really cool job, now I couldnt do half that, I got old, apparently you cant do either, right? keep workin on it, ya might make it, the 505 was a power lift in high school, increased 20 lbs at a time until the whole class was done, I won, push ups are harder for me anyways, so I have nothing to prove to a little kid like you, keep working out

  • you know im not in very good shape but knowing wat PJs do i always think i wanna be a part of this it makes me wanna do this cause i know i have that determination and i care for human life idk its weird. Im an out of shape average joe and i feel like i want to subject myself to that kind of training it makes me want to do this.

  • @SOA209 Start training now bro and you'll get there.

  • That one person didnt pass PJ training

  • This group proves the Air Force is not just "the Chair Force."

  • Wow this video was very inspiring and I think all of US Air Force and the rest of the Armed Forces are amazing.....hopefully one day I will be right there by your side serving with a great purpose.....keep fighting and stay strong

  • I'm gonna do this =)

  • i don't think he fell

  • Did anyone else see the guy fall from the chopper when they were rappelling? At about 1:17

  • @xM1911x He was on a rope, notice his jerking motions in the beginning of his descent. He probably lost control of the rope with his hands

  • Did anyone else see the guy fall from the chopper when they were rappelling?

  • @xM1911x That was a jump, not a fall. If that person was injured, it wasn't a fall.

  • for anyone leaving for basic to become a pj, make sure you do pt on your own. The Pt that is manditory just isnt enough to stay in elite shape. never take it easy and never give up! Wolf Pack!

  • ya ill probably be leaving in hopefully september haha, still havent signed my pj contract because my recruiters on leave, but im sure ill see you at lackland, my trainings about 2 years for pj anyways so well see :)

  • well im an air force special operations trainee and im leaving for basic in sept, but all military branches are just as important as the other.

  • @CodyWilk1993 I agree because with out one that would just put more stress and stuff on the other branches and the morale would be lower. Also good luck in your special operations training, I am hoping to leave for basic at Lackland AFB about this time next June maybe we will see each other or somthing lol

  • @RPPanther81 your very right the air force actually has the best special forces of all the branches of the military i dont see why everyone gives the air force a hard time if it wasnt for them we would not win all the battles we do

  • My best friend Douglas Lee Eccleston gave his life."that others may live"......my profile has a tribute video in his honor...

  • @tarsound1 i am sorry for your loss but look at the bright side of it he gave his life for a good cause the people that he save probably will never forget his sacrifice. His sacrafice will not be forgotten. You should be proud to have known what he had to have gone through just to do this i know i would be =)

  • It is my duty as a Pararescueman to

save life and to aid the injured. I will be

prepared at all times to perform my

    assigned duties quickly and efficiently,

    placing these duties before personal

desires and comforts. These things I do,

    "That Others May Live."

    HOOYAH!!!!

  • @vasilikosolov SO TRUE! It's a Non-Combatant role as well... BUT! i know you could give me a mag of 5.56 in a quick toss... PJ's ROCK! Wear that beret with pride, It's not often seen.

  • They are the among the elite of the U.S. forces. Thank you all for your service. God bless you all. All that serve the United States so we can have our freedom that they give up!

  • They are the among the elite of the U.S. forces. Thank you all for your service. God bless you all. All that serve the United States so we can have our freedom that they give up!

  • In 10th grade, i wrestle, joining swim and water polo for this.

I want this so fucking badly

Hopefully the three years prior training can prepare me enough.

(Your mind and heart will carry your body when your limbs are to weak)

  • AF Supply Troop Stationed EAFB, AK, in the 1970's,, Awsome PJ;s Then, Awsome PJ's Now Bob Lapointe, my role model. Made me a better R. N.

    Thanks Bob

  • Do most people going into INDOC have alot of experience swimming or mediocre amount?

  • @WR3STL3 I'm training to go to INDOC right now and I'VE been swimming competitively all my life and I'm STILL busting my ass to get better in the water. If people are going to INDOC with mediocre swimming experience they probably won't make it but you can change mediocre to a lot all you have to do is just get in the pool/lake/ocean and SWIM YOUR @SS OFF!!!

  • @SillyGringo101 Damn i need to start swimming on my hs team.

How was the BMT for you physically?

Good for you man i hope it all works out in your favor. Thanks for the info

Im not in the position to give you advice about indoc but all id have to say is "Winners never quit and quitters never win, so you better work your ass off mentally and physically so its not an option". quote from my dad that motivates me everyday.

  • @WR3STL3 I haven't gone to BMT yet still waiting on a contract but i just heard today that if you tell your MTI that you are there for special operations they have a program that you can go do workouts with INDOC cadres to help keep you physically fit. This came from a A1C just 8 months out of BMT who said thats what the PJ and CCT hopefuls did in his flight.

  • @SillyGringo101 Thanks that sounds great

  • @SillyGringo101 The swimming that you do in your everyday life and the swimming they require in PJ training is not identical you don't need to be a hard ass squid inorder to pass the training its mostly mental and experience gained through training. Got this info from my brothers friend who used to be a pararescue for the airforce.

  • For Special Ops like CCT and PJ both pools are about 200 each. They generally take 18-20 maximum after training.

  • Gay song

  • @johnrocks2149.."breath you in" - thousand foot krutch

  • Yeah I was to caught up in fixing his mistake to see my own lol, but yeah 9 of 10 don't make it, I knew that though

  • what is this song called??????

  • I'm in AFJROTC at the moment, going to be in AFROTC next August, and I honestly wish that I could be a PJ. The only thing in my way is being female. I hold the highest respect for PJs, to anyone who is Pararescue and watching this...thank you.

  • True Heroes ! giving everything for nothing in return. You guys are rockstars !!!

  • Im thinking of doing this myself god bless everyone who is serving in the military

  • Great vid, great song choice, great Corps. Respect from Britain.

  • Cant Wait to join and help

  • 1:18-1:20 ...did that guy fall? o_O

  • @newspot221

It's been said : PJs do not fail.

  • @drothefuture ...but he did fall didn't he?

  • @newspot221

No, he was on the rope, it's called showboating.

  • one day...

  • This has been my dream for years. I wont quit for anything until I'm a PJ

    "That Others May Live"

  • @YHSAlink That Others May Live, Brother.

  • @YHSAlink I know how you feel brother. See ya there.

  • @YHSAlink Hoooah to that, My dream is to get accepted in the US Air Force Academy. Maybe we could see each other some day xD

I doubt it ... May God help you achieve your dreams.

  • as the song of this video is called ?¿

  • the pararescue's, the best of the best, i'm be paramedic combat in policia federal, México, congratulations to this hero's.

  • I was a doggie twenty years ago, however, in this day and age I would strongly consider trying to be one of these guys.

  • Awesome.

  • Guys, the song is Thousand Foot Krutch - Breathe you in

  • Just so you all know, as someone who actually went, the PAST test is nothing

  • compared to what you'll acutally face in indoc course

  • I will be a PJ, that others may live

  • @CameronM503 A washout rate is ppl quitting because it's pretty much hell.. How far into the recruiter are you? Have you gone to MEPS yet and done your PAST test? Where you getting recruited from.. I'm in Georgia my recruiter is in Tallahassee Fl though

  • I'm training for my PAST test right now just to be able to say I'm going pararescue after boot camp.. Wish me luck and to stay strong through it all.. I believe I can do it.

  • theres my first sergent 4th one face begining (CIVIL AIR PTROL) USAFAUX

  • Whats the name of this song for the video? Love the video by the way. After college im going to the school for PJ's. Hope to be one of them in a few years.

  • everyone needs to stop comparing branches. especially those of you who have never served. all branches work in harmony and deserve no more respect than the others. god bless america.

  • waht the name of the song on this video?

  • do your best and never give up...

  • I love my seals but theses guys are awesome guys the save people really do thats there main thing there awesome but not as good as seals

  • @STRIKERBOY101

Gotta love how this idiot just got done playing call of duty then posted this comment, LOL.

  • These guys are the best in the line with CCT and SOWT. The teams are spec ops and the most elite the world can ever make, they could be spartans if they want to like the game halo with AF advance technology they have. You have to be smart and strong all in one package.

  • I'm going to pararescue as soon as possible

  • what is the name of the song?

  • USAF Pararescuer is what I'm shooting for.

  • Who is picking al the gay music for these PJ videos. Chances are you will fail. Even with all the spoon fed information you get these days

  • @cdigear If you never try then you will surely fail. Those who set back and say you will fail before you even try will never succeed. I don't care what someone else says I will still work my hardest and I won't give in.

  • Who is picking al the gay music for these PJ videos.

  • I don't know why pj's are so "elite". Never saw one in Afghanistan or Iraq. Not even sure they are special. Any casulty air evacs or Air support was always by Marine air or Army and even the Brits. Never once saw the chair force do anything other than eat at the chowhall. Most other Branches wonder why we even have a chair force when they can operate alone almost without any assistance from the chair force. I think most Army or Marine grunts could agree with me.

  • @760guy actually the brits can't seem to provide sufficient healthcare to their servicemen, look it up. The PJ's have been seen in afghanistan as medics of sorts, 2 were on robert's ridge in 2002, one went KIA, the other WIA while providing medical care to soldiers under fire. The CCT's are also special ops because they call in air support and are deployed with rangers, seals or other special operation forces

  • @760guy you never heard about them cus they did stuff so secretly, they ate, then did training and went to do missions, something your POG ass never did

  • @760guy Just because your too dumb to know who is rescuing you doesn't mean Air Force CSAR doesn't exist. They are there to pull your cannon fodder ass out of the AOR.

  • billie... how'd it go?

  • @thebigb800 the total training for pararescue is around 2 years and he only posted 3 months ago

  • I wanna know the name of rhis song. Would someone PLEASE HELP ME...... Thanks

  • @alexandreschwanz its breath you in by thousand foot krutch

  • This is what im going in

  • did anyone else see the guy fall at 1:20. holy shit!

  • your a really amazing person if you have this job...it takes alot of guts to do this

  • im goin in january wish me luck

  • just out of high school and waiting for my boot date. this is what i want for my life!

  • @billievable

just dont give up dude u can do it! im working on my degree before i join this is my dream

  • i will said just 1 thing, THIS IS AWSOME! <3 God bless all of you guys

  • tfk

  • All branches of U.S military have my respect. God bless all of you

  • @hsharrott Agreed

  • @hsharrott hooyah

  • @hsharrott thanks man

  • when your in training tell your mind never give up keep on going

  • 2 more years then a air force Pararescue jumper cant wait

  • @MrMlang01 Welcome to the family.

  • just got my CRO slot as an officer pararescue and i cant wait to start phase one. Wish me me luck, theres a 98% washout rate

  • @billieveable

set your mind to it and focus. you can do it man! goodluck!

  • @billieveable If you get through the first 10 weeks. , everything becomes just standard courses. But you will be pushed for about a year and a half. Your final countdown after that will mostly be PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.

  • @billieveable good luck man!!

  • @billieveable Not quite that high, but still the highest in the entire military. Good luck.

  • @billieveable gl man, im studying for the azvabs test since i gotta get a 93 on it. i got a 75 first meeting so with some studying ill be a ok. im going to be a PJ, im gunna be that 2%

  • @billieveable best of luck i washed out of ranger school cant even imagine this shit...

  • @billieveable

    How did it go?

  • @billieveable

    Hey.

Please tell me how that´s done.

I´m in ROTC right now, want to know the way to be an officer pj, if that makes any sense at all.

  • @billieveable how'd indoc go? which class are you in?

  • @billieveable Good luck

  • @billieveable

    Results?

  • @billieveable Hey I gotta question... My plan is to go pararescue as an officer..... How do u begin training as an officer?

  • @lillinkerjosh23 its called CRO's i thinkn its basically the same but you also get officer training... i havent talked to a recruiter or anything like for other branches of the military however

  • @billieveable Good luck bro, do it for everyone who can't

  • @billieveable It's a 90% washout rate. 9 of 10 make it. that's 90% bud

  • @ObsidianBlade11

90 percent washout rate means 9 out of 10 DONT make it

  • @ObsidianBlade11 Umm, you seem to be a little mixed up. 90% of people drop the course or dq cause of injuries. There has never been a class ever to have graduation rate of 90%. There is not an indoc in any branch to graduate 90%, thats why its spec ops. If you want you can check out class graduation vids on here, My class started with 39 and 8 graduated, and even that was high. if it was that easy, everyone would do it.

  • @billieveable Yeah i know, it was a typo, if you scrolled down the comments further you would have saw i corrected it

  • Comment removed

  • @billieveable How did u do?

  • @billieveable Luck can't help you now.

  • RESPECT from POLAND

  • Amazing Video and Amazing song

  • Thank you for this video.

  • Wow!

  • music = Breathe You In - Thousand Foot Krutch

  • i can't wait until training. i hope to god i get in

  • @ludwigdrummer2011 You will man. Just never give up and work hard for the things you want. It is not easy but "nothing worth having is easy". Just never give up. When you think you can't keep going ....ignore the thought and JUST KEEP going. Everyday of training and exhaustion always comes to an end. You will make it if you REALLY want it.

  • wats da song called

  • god bless..=]..Uno ab Alto

  • I can't wait to start my trianing after I graduate high school

  • @Ticoporvida11393 good luck wit dat future PJ....get some!
