Hey man, can help me out? Ive got a similar setup but having trouble getting sound out of my speakers. Im getting feedback so I know theres a signal, just no music. Can you tell me the complete Config that you use? I have my laptop, usb soundcard, VDJ, the Herc e2 and a pair of Mackie studio monitors.

How did you set it up with that version of Virtual DJ? That's the version I have, the version that comes with the Hercules DJ MP3 e2 looks VERY basic.

@Mydjproductions you have to check the codec of your hercules or reinstall the virtual dj in a newest version or look if vdj have an update for your version or watch if the codec of the hercules is the newest

u need a extra soundcard, u can get a USB soundcard for about 10$.

And u can u any headphones when u are new to mixing :)

@gangas159 depends which midi controller you get, I like the fact that you can virtually control any aspect of a piece of software, I've used midi controllers to tweak stuff in VDJ, Traktor, Ableton Live, Reason, FL Studio - a lot of it depends on your needs, also it's easier to get that last minute request in with an integrated library than with CD's, especially when you only have 10 seconds until the song is over :-)
