  • Sigh. Even in 2010 music journalists have the wrong bloody idea what "Electro" is.

  • I find it amusing to see all these reactions to this kind of music. I understand how this music could be classified as "shitty" but you could try to be a little more open. Everybody knows that when electric guitars first started playing people were like "This is just a really shitty guitar with twisted sound". I like to listen to Classic Music, Rock (don't like Punk very much but I get it) but I also like to listen to Neon Indian, just because it is so weird and different.

  • @NeatWilliam exactly

  • I just can't get enough of this adorable guy ♥

  • Christ this boy has a great eye, he allows himself to see properly

  • God damn It's nice to see an artist going back to the Synthesizers that made artists famous in the 80s. Sweet candy for the ears.

  • This guy is a moron. Sad to see that music has become nothing but high-quality video game noises.

Rock is dead, records are dead, hi-fidelity is dead.

Welcome to the 21st century where everything sucks.

  • @JayMalone You are a dumbass. Wasting your time trolling on a guy with actual talent.

You need a brain, you're a fuckface, fuck off.

Welcome to the 21st century where you look just plain stupid.

  • @JayMalone

You are not looking hard enough. Everyone can find something they can latch onto. They still press records and I own some. I highly prefer pristine-sounding albums. I applaud your pessimism, but it is misplaced.

  • @ThisSaturatedMind Now they press records with digitally recorded tracks, so there's really no point.

The fact is, we've gone backwards in sound technology ever since the invention of digital sound.

  • @JayMalone

Albums are mixed/recorded as if to be pressed on vinyl, whether or not they eventually are. There are labels that exclusively release vinyl and many artists have direct control during recording, often doing it themselves. In such a situation they can choose to record to tape. There's a movie coming out called "blood, sweat, and vinyl" that I hope to see. I'm not a vinyl-only person, but vinyl is resisting the ages far better than CD's. Cassettes still get pressed! There's hope!

  • @JayMalone

I'm also not a huge fan of this sound so this is not in defense of the music on this page.

  • @JayMalone I agree with you for the most part, but what about early Mars volta or at the drive in and outkast. Do you like that?

  • I looked at the outfits and just thought that they could be dating or something. Stripes? Blacks? white? All check. they even have their reds matching.

  • "well I heard the limousines and I thought they sounded cool."

  • my infatuation with this man just skyrocketed. hehe. nice interview, very thought provoking for him.

  • I'd give an arm just to watch this cunt play!

  • Looks just like his dad!! Damn... want some of them genes

  • He's actually a really smart guy haha, Thanks for the Interview!

  • @zackorozco not surprised
