I would like to say, first off, thank you. I prefer your tutorial for several reasons. First, you explain what things are, where they're located and what they're called before explaining what they do instead of just saying "this button". Second, you are using a mic which helps quite a bit, I saw a video with arrows and terrible misspellings; terrible. Putting all the sytrus'us on one mixer track probably isnt the best idea. By assigning them seperate mixer tracks, and NOT using a template, you can get amazin FX capabilities. Tutorial... nah.

I got a problem,  when I open up the mixer, there are no in-s or out-s listed, aswell as soft clipper, notebook and peak controller, and everything I made permamently mutes... well, a little bit difficult, but I did that. I couldn't find "Silver saw" so I used "hypersaw"

may I please say never ever EVER put a compressor on the Master? Well certainly not a SINGLE band compressor. Multi is sometimes ok, but dont push it. There are much more efficient ways of keeping your music within the limits. Like a Limiter. Its more CPU friendly, and less destructive...because what you were using a compressor to do is what the Limiter was meant to do.

Another thing, the Soft Clipper should be called Soft Compressor, because thats what it is.

One more thing, the optimal level for music is peaking, not in the green-yellow area. Not so much that the gauge turns red, thats the distortion range, but so that it touches the orange area...a more precise explanation is you want to keep it below 0dB, but you dont want the peaks to be too much lower than 0. Mixing is one of my specialties lol...Im such a geek with it :P

Another suggestion for content tutorial-wise is to include pointers on varying the sonic space...IE, making the song not sound noobish by way of panning and using surround sound when appropriate. Its a quick little detail, but its SO important to making good music, it seperates good from great.

Go to your audio settings in FL and change the sound driver you use, it prolly got changed to ASIO4ALL or whatever it's called, just change it till it works again.
