My favorite guitar solo ever is on this one. This is one of the two best songs about Joseph Conrad. The other is SHADOWLINE by Fleshtones. I bought this in 45 right when it came out. Uprated and shared.
I drove college pals nuts when I played this. I bought it on a 45 right when it came out. It was curious to know these people. An honor. Great artists.
I can remember a song by these guys...something about all of lifes failures piling up or something like that. Great song What was the song / LP named? What ever happened to these guys.?
@abebg I guess they (Ian Curtis) did not listen to this kindastuff, they were hardly listening that far from home. This Ubu adventure is much more advanced in life than where the JoyDiv stood at that time and stages of their lives. JoyDiv is much more about the urge of finding a way, this music is more like developing ways to find a way. Keeping some distance from life, observe and find out how to handle things. Like em both, approve both of them highly, so to speak need em both.

I think I hear Peter Laughner's ghost enter my study when I hear this song, or at least the first four songs on "The Modern Dance"...
