I hadn't been on YT in forever. I finally get back on and everythings changed. I effin HATE change. So, I switched it back to the old layout only to be informed that as of March 2012 everyones will be changed for good. WTF? Do we not get a choice in the matter? At least w/ the old layout we had the opportunity to express ourselves w/ diff backgrounds and such.

Even if they made this new channel version to make more money - I don't see how. When you injure the people who are your customers who wants to patronize your product. What will they do next. This new channel layout is pathetic. This guy is completely right, there is absolutely no fun, interesting or anything eye-catching about it. And the fact you have lost all control over things like opacities, colours, fonts... Everything really... just kills the channel. Also, this not being able to watch videos in-channel, instead being redirected to the video, is a pain in the arse if you're - for example - trying to catch up on a series you have been watching.

WRONG. Unless they've bought up the sites we're all heading off to. A rebellious mania is now springing up on this issue. So far I've seen quite a bit on the Zippcast suggestion, and noises about DailyMotion. There's a capacity for this type of site. We can't forget it existed.

ZippCast has features exactly like YT. Also, you can see your AVATAR on VIDEO COMMENTS -unlike this shit. You can upload Audio and Picture files without uploading a entire video. As of Jan 24, ZippCast has gotten more and more traffic. And there are still plenty of cool usernames that are not taken yet!
ZippCast is RISING, and soon Googletube will just be a LOST CAUSE like Myspace.

Just read that I HAVE to change my channel on 1st March, as they are doing it for me?! Thanks for the choice! My channel is really colourful, arty and accessible for people to use. However I am completely confused by the new layout, and I find it really hard to navigate around other people's channels! I actually got lost the other day when looking at potential new friend's channel. Considering taking my channel down altogether!

Lets see, they are getting rid of your friends, if anyone comes to your page and clicks on any of your videos, it will take them to a new page! So really everything that your page stands for will be censored!
And already some videos are blocked/stopped midway, you can not reply to some people, and peoples pages are already being blocked from viewing!

This new channel layout is pathetic. This guy is completely right, there is absolutely no fun, interesting or anything eye-catching about it. And the fact you have lost all control over things like opacities, colours, fonts... Everything really... just kills the channel. Also, this not being able to watch videos in-channel, instead being redirected to the video, is a pain in the arse if you're - for example - trying to catch up on a series you have been watching.
Terrible decision, youtube.
