Sotiria Bellou was a great singer and a gift for Greece and the Remetika. Her unique voice lives forever!

She had hard times in her life, but she survived with her own way of life.

I adore her. I wished I could have met her in person.

Music never dies... Sotiria lives on in my heart!

Last summer I cleaned the Inscription on her gravestone:

Υπάρχουν... Αλλά να αναφέρω κάτι γιατί έτσι γίνονται οι παρερμηνίες... Η Μπέλου δεν θεωρείται η σπουδαία φωνή... Ούτε άρθρωση είχε σωστή, ούτε γυρίσματα μπορούσε να κάνει, ούτε αναπνοές.. Απλά ήταν μια γυναίκα, με ιδιαίτερη χροιά, και με πάθος, που έπιασε το κλιμα της εποχης

Τεσπα ας μην ανοιξουμε τωρα κυκλο συζητησης για την Μαρινελλα.Εχω σοβαρες ενστασεις και βασιμες μαλιστα περι του ψευτικου συναισθηματος της τόσα χρονια, και των θεατρινισμων της όταν τραγουδαει. Προτιμω άλλες φωνες γυναικων. Αυτες που λατρεψε ο μεσος ελληνας και ελληνιδα.

@Bentril14 Τραγικά αυτα που λες... αλλα οκ, ακόμη και για τον Παρθενώνα θα βρεθούνε κάποιοι να κάνουνε αρνητική κριτική...κουράγιο...

τραγικο ειναι που δεν εχεις αντικειμενικοτητα και πιπιλιζεις οτι προφανως σου εχουν περασει, οπως πχ οτι η Μουσχουρη εχει τεραστια που ειναι λες και νιοαυριζει... Η Μπελλου ειναι πιο σπουδαια απο την Μουσχουρη, αντικειμενικα.... Αλλα δεν ακουγεται αυτο... Αλλα πιπιλιζονται.. Και αυτα που πιπιλιζονται λες και εσυ για την Μπελλου.. Γιατι αν ησουν αντικειμενικος θα διαπιστωνες το προφανες για την οχι και τοσο ευηχη φωνη της Μπελλου ή οτι δεν εχει ωραια γυρισματα στην φωνη της.......

@Bentril14 Μάλλον κάποιο λάθος έγινε και απάντησες σε μένα, εγώ είπα πως η Μπέλλου ειναι απο τις εκπληκτικότερες Ελληνιδες τραγουδίστριες - μαζί με την Βιτάλη για μένα ειναι οι 2 μεγαλύτερες στην Ελλάδα. - Πιθανόν ήθελα να απαντήσω σε κάποιον άλλο που έλεγε πως η Μπέλου δεν έχει 'έκταση' στην φωνή και σωστές αναπνοές - κλπ κλπ - ισχυρισμοί που τους βρίσκω έντελώς λάθος διότι ένα γνήσιο ταλέντο όπως η Μπέλλου δεν χρειάζεται τεχνική για να τραγουδήσει, αλλά αυτή ή ίδια δημιουργεί την 'τεχνική'

@Bentril14 Αν πάλι εσύ έλεγες αυτά τα περί "ευηχότητας' για την Μπέλλου, τότε εμμένω στην άποψή μου.Εγώ πάντως δεν είπα τιποτα για την Μούσχουρη. Μάλλον με μπέρδεψες με άλλον. Το μόνο που ήθελα να πω είναι πως μπορείς να κρίνεις την τέχνη με το μυαλό, και μπορείς και να την αντιληφθείς με την καρδιά, και αυτοί οι 2 τρόποι αντίληψης οδηγούν σε διαφορετικά συμπεράσματα. Με τον πρώτο τρόπο λογαριάζεις, με τον δεύτερο βιώνεις. Νομίζω πως ο 2ος τρόπος είναι κοντύτερα στην Αλήθεια. Αυτά :-)
